I was born on a 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. I got a perpetual calendar for my birthday. I figured out all my Friday the 13th birthdays for MY LIFE that day- and figured out that I would be 86 on my 13th Friday the 13th birthday. It was so weird that I got a reputation at school and people started calling me friday. I have been friday ever since.

My son was born on Friday the 13th too. August, 1994. I recall his birthday landing on a Friday again but don't remember when that was but now you should see me looking through the calendar to see when :D

Go home, you have a computer there. Come back on and chat from the comfort of your pj's and fuzzy slippers.

I won't take my trumpet crossborder right now. Last time I took it crossborder- I used to play with a band in Pt Huron Michigan- I got hauled over to secondary and they confiscated it- even though it was registered and gave me 24 hours to get a form and letter from my conductor indicating that I was REALLY a member of the band. I tried to show him my folder, and printed programs with my name in them- even one where I was featured that had my PICTURE in it, but no good. Unfortunatly for me, my conductor was not American and was only there on greencard- complicated. I got my horn back and haven't been over since.

I wouldn't bring it here again either after hearing that story! sorry that happened.

You know- one of my slouches emailed me this morning. She has a show to submit at home right now. The host ordered cookware and she wanted to know how PanORama worked and if she qualified. Another of my slouches called to ask to buy 10 catalogues for host packs for October. That means I should have... 4 active qualified from the current team for October, plus whomever I get reeled in with the current incentive. I might actually pull this off.

Sounds like you are very close. Keep recruiting and you won't have to worry when one of those slouches does phase out.

You probably should get some sleep. Do you want to be picked? I've only had to go in once, and I really knew nothing of the case except that a coworker's son was the tow truck driver that had to pick up the vehicle and I got a pretty vivid description of the car. I wasn't picked to be on the jury. That I don't mind.

Mary, you and I are in the same situation. I have pages from several days ago to read. I am trying to keep up-to-date and then go back and read where I left off before :grumpy:

If I had not gone last night, I think I would tonight. Just don't feel like dealing with it right now. Want to walk in and get on the phone or do the cleaning, etc.

I may go try. I want to be back on later. I have few posts to catch up. I want to be pink by the end of this weekend.

I don't know what type of court it is, like traffic or otherwise. If it were an interesting case and I could be done in a day or so, I wouldn't care. I have too much going on at work to be gone too long.

LOL, too busy getting it all done. Um, no.... Tried to get my plan in action. I am talking I have stacks and stacks and stacks of paper that should be put away or thrown away. I should have been doing it all along but I think we talked about how it got away from me

I kept trying to work on it and would organize things on the bed into stacks to be filed or dealt with and then when bed time came it would be moved right back again. (not a good plan there)

  • #8,693
We have a dining room and a breakfast room so one table gets used very seldom. I decided to haul as much of the stuff to the dining table to sort it so I wouldn't have to keep moving it to go to bed.

For our final project we had to design an amusement park, or a new ride, or a cartoon, or something. Along with the marketing strategy for it.
