Naw... you'd only be on single digit posts if you were still at home! Let's say you are in your car on the way to the club. Hit the triple digit mark and you have arrived at the club!

Hey... we learned at conference that while having a goal defined in your head is great, but writing (or typing) it is so much more important. You have set your goal, made it public knowledge and you are ON YOUR WAY, BABY!!!

I'm not sure 2 cents would stay in a g-string very well... better make it $2

Depends on what you use as a coin slot.

Folks down here don't know about Loonies and Twonies.

They think those are Bugs Bunny cartoons.

Never heard of it. It looks like a Starbucks. Do you have one of those in your "own little world"?

You're almost there. I have a long way to go yet, but it will happen. Goodness knows I do nothing else lately but sit here and talk to all of you. It's time well, well spent!!!

In my own little world, I have my own Starschmucks in my kitchen.

Tim Horton's coffee is at least a Twonie less than Starschmucks but it also gives me heartburn. Still, for a Twonie, I can take a lot of Maalox.

The Canadians have figured out what Americans are too obstinate to learn, that dollar bills are like pennies, just a colossal PITA, so they cast $1 coins with a loon on the reverse side:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/99/Loonie_reverse_view.png/150px-Loonie_reverse_view.pnghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d4/Loonie_obverse_view.png/150px-Loonie_obverse_view.png

Affectionately known as "Loonies."

They used $1 coins and $2 bills - the $2 bill has never really caught on here in several attempts. When Canadian $2 also got to be a PITA, the government started to issue $2 coins...

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a2/Toonie-obverse2004.jpg/150px-Toonie-obverse2004.jpg
150px-Toonie-reverse.jpg

so, if a $1 coin is a loonie, than a $2 coin must be a "twonie" or "toonie."

I'm sure our Canadian friends will (kindly and gently) correct me if I'm wrong about this.

While we're at it...here is another one of my pet peeves. This is a Canada Goose:

240px-Canada-Goose-Szmurlo.jpg

It is NOT a "Canadian" goose. It is not a citizen of Canada, it cannot vote, and it doesn't need to show a passport at the border.
