Me Too!!!!

What shall we DO about it?

I am trying to book more shows and get more team- but it will take at least until November 12th for me to get paid on that... so I have to admit, I am taking pictures of some less than necessary household items, that might be classified as clutter in certain circles- and selling it online. (not ebay- that place freaks me out)

No, it's whatever you want to do. I think you'd be better off giving free shipping with $XX order. If they order 60 and you give 10% you give $6 if you give free base shipping it's $4. People like to get free shipping. They aren't thinking well, that's not even 10%. I think you would be amazed at the people who would spend a little more to get free shipping over something free. You might do free SB with any order. You don't want to give away the bank.

I am afraid to do the shipping because I don't want to be driving all over heck and back to get people there orders... you know what I mean??

I do understand that. You could do save $xx with $xx order. Save $5 when you spend $75. I don't know. Maybe your 10% is the better way to go.
I think I'm just making it too complicated.

In my world- success would have me as an upper level director- doing only 8 shows a month, because I would be coaching and working with my team the whole rest of the month. I would have paid off my student loans and credit cards. I would have a second car. I would live in a house with space for me to have an office space all my own... I would never again wake up in the morning worried about how I am going to rob peter to pay paul to keep the bills paid.

I think I need to take myself seriously. I would have to get over my phone phobias. I don't know why I have them, but I do. I can find anything else to do. I need to set a plan and work it. I need to get a space that I can find my stuff. I need to get my calendar really booked so I don't feel like I'm doing a first show over and over again. I don't like you making me think about this. I'm glad you are, but I don't like it.

Do I feed the baby- even though I am trying to wean him and cut him back to just the 6am feeding- or do I let daddy fight with him to get him to sleep without me?

You are going to do great! Don't sweat this! Give a SB with any order and be done with it. It's not going to cost you an arm and a leg. You have a great display. Don't you dare get down about this now! You have worked too hard to get this far!

This is me and one of my former students who now plays in the band I rehearsed with tonight. This was on Canada Day this year. We were sitting wasting time before the concert we played in the park.

No, this is good. My director did a little of this with me maybe 6months/a year ago. And I decided that I was really okay with keeping myself active and not a lot more. A show a month something like that, maybe 2. I think I need to take myself seriously so that my dh will get back on board and take this seriously. He's a great guy, but I think he's getting over the hobbiest state I'm in.

Ya know you don't have to do anything as far as orders go. I know you're going to have success, and now you just have to believe that. Did I tell you all I'm a firm believer in the power of the mind. What you tell your mind you will believe. You're not nervous, you're excited. Your body doesn't know the difference.

Thanks Kim. I didn't have the US meeting planner before. They aren't the same up here in the Great White North.

So what is yours?

We don't always do everything in the planner; especially if they go to the other meetings with a Director in town. If I see some of things done at the meeting, I will tweak it to some extent. (if is talking about bookings, we may just take a different aspect than suggested)

tomorrow I am starting the day by doing all the brush work in the big bedroom to get it painted. Then I need to scrape and plaster the holes (and there are LOTS) in the kitchen walls. (Someone attacked this room with a big bag of massive screws and a bunch of finishing nails about 40 years ago). Then I need to do the rest of the painting in the bedroom.

Gee that sounds like so much more fun that going to jury duty. Trade ya!!!

I get shifting gears back and forth in your biz. I started in 1998 doing 1-2 shows a month for 98 and 99. I started kicking things up in 2000 up to about 4 shows a month. In 2001 I earned a trip. In 2002 I had an ugly divorce and everything knocked down to barely staying active for 2002. I used PC in 2003 and 04 to keep me and my kids in groceries, but not too much more than that. In 2005 I started team building and recruited 7 people. In 2006 I got pregnant 2 weeks before Leadership and once again dropped to barely staying active. Now that the baby is a year, its time to earn a trip again!!

If he asks again you can say no I looked and there were only two, possibly one.

I had mint choc chip/pb cup/&chocolate. It was really good. I actually only had a small amount of each, not even a scoop(of each). Just a taste. My dd took 1/2 my pb cup because she only had mint chip and chocolate and she wanted to have three too.
