I have been offered a house (with kitchen) to offer hosts who want to have a PC party but don't have the room at their place. I would have the keys and would need to clean up (which I always help clean up after parties and this wouldn't be a problem).
They thought a charge of $35 for...
I have a $10 or $11 item I need to order to make a show qualify. (I sold some cash and carry so I'm really not spending that much.)
I am torn between:
* Crinkle Cutter
* Creative Cutters
* Small slotted turner (still looks too big to flip an egg in the Saute Pan, though.)
* Decorator...
There's really no point to this thread, but I still wanted to write it :)
I have thought forever, "Now who really needs a gravy separator? Does anyone really get this?" because I figured it was worthless. Of course, I could never make gravy either (unless it was sausage gravy for...
I had an email from my upcoming host about her kitchen shears that she purchased last year. She said that they are completely dull and wants to know if she can exchange them. I know they have a 3 year guarantee but if it were me I would just sharpen them! Will HO exchange them? I say no but...
I am having trouble's with my kitchen spritzer... I have 2 of them, one for canola oil and one for olive oil. Every time I go to use them lately, I pump it up and spray and it sprays just a tad and then nothing... and this is happening to both of them. They are both less than a year old...
I am having a Holiday Kids in the Kitchen Workshop in my home on Saturday. We are making sugar cookies, brownie lollipops (my revised recipe) and I want to do a punch and make something with the cut n seal. Any ideas? I'm mostly looking for a punch recipe that is not so "summery", but I would...
I have a customer who is looking for 6 pairs of the old kitchen shears- I thought they were on the outlet, but they are only with a group of other products, can anyone help?
Hi all,
At my show last night I got booking for a kids show, where Mom has triplets that are age 8, and she said they are getting more curious on helping in kitchen and she knows that lots of her friends kids are around same age and they all are trying to let them help, but don't have many...
So I was talking with my host on Saturday after her show and she was asking me about some things when the topic came up about offering these different style shows. I mentioned the power cooking, cookie exchange (Homemade for the Holidays, also), and the Kids in the kitchen Shows (or...
I have a November host who is doing an awesome job already with getting the word out about her show. The official invitations haven't gone out yet, it's too early, but she usually gets good crowds I hear. So I'm trying to make plans on what to make. She wants to do a main dish. Her micro is...
Does anybody know if the Well Stocked Kitchen flyer has been updated by home office? The only version I can find is from 2007, and has several items that are no longer available.
thanks
Melinda
You know the 2 grey circle parts, where they cover the screw? One of mine is always falling off. I'm amazed it hasn't gotten lost yet. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm debating gluing it in place, but wasn't sure if that would be good for them. Thanks.
I have made this letter to send out to parents in my kids classrooms, I was looking for input, does this sound good? I hope so, I really would like to focus on kids cooking classes, and catalog shows. I can't seem to interest people in cooking shows lately :(
I hope this works, I am not good...
This item has been on my wish list for a while! A guest told me she never uses flour on hers when rolling out dough... is that true???? I won one Tuesday night at my cluster meeting, and plan to use it this weekend.
Hi there, I get emails from a meal planning site and this weeks was about kids in the kitchen. I thought some of you might be interested. I can not remember if you will need to be a member of the site to view but I will post the link anyway.
Kids in the Kitchen
Where do I find the current well stocked kitchen flyer? I had one in my file, but it was from 2006- I looked on Consultant Corner, and could not find it- any help? I am meeting with the mother of the groom today.
Hi All!
I am going to be doing a "Kids in the Kitchen" type of show for some Girl Scouts. It will be set up as a fundraiser for a local shelter so they can get their cooking badge AND another badge for fundraising for the shelter.
I am pretty sure these girls will be around 9 or 10...
Has anyone used the kitchen sheers for stripping cilantro off of the stem? I have a customer who emailed me asking how well they work for this purpose. I haven't used them so I was wondering what your thoughts are if you have done this.
Thanks for the help
JoLynn
This isn't directly related to PC, but I'm doing a PC shower for my best friend in two weeks. She wants it to feel as much like a traditional shower as possible, so I'm trying to incorporate a game or two into the mix. I thought about doing a name that tune kitchen edition and then creating a...
Hi there,
I've been asked for PC donation for my son's pre-school.
I'd like to do a small basket including a cookbook, a few small
tools and a coupon. I need a catchy description of what
I'm donating for a booklet they're doing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Ellen
I am looking for a couple of the HWC Pink Kitchen Brushes from May 2008. I love mine and would like to have some extras, and I have a customer that would like one if I can get a hold of any. Let me know if you have an extra one that you are not going to use.

Ok~ first let me say I'm not a clean freak or a germ stresser. Last night at my party the host had the nastiest kitchen I have ever been in. She had fresh fruit just cut open on the counter with trash sitting next to it. The sink looked like it belonged in someones garage or laundry room. The...
If I strain the pulp out of lemon juice, could I use it with the Kitchen Spritzer? I love lemon juice on my salads, but if I pour it on, it's way too much.
:thumbdown:Let's see...I'll try to makeit short!
We were going to have it at the local Museum but there was a mix-up and the aticle that we had counted on for most of the marketing didn't get put into the paper!! So, we had to move the class as we couldn't afford the rent! I had suggested...
Another host and I are having our Kids in the Kitchen class today ( I say today because it is 12:53 here), Saturday at 11:00 am. Please, say a little prayer that all goes well. We have really overcome some major hurtles and have VERY few kids :cry: and I really want to make it fun for them and...
