I'm throwing together a quick KITK workshop to stay active this month. I didnt have time to order a product for the kids to take home. They are paying $5 each and I usally try and give them something small, ex. My Safe Cutter or Mini Svg Spat. I talked with some fellow consultants and have...
Here is my "Tuesday Night Test Kitchen" idea that I'm about to resurrect --
I came up with this idea last summer and did a couple of successful ones before I got slammed at work during the Fall. This is not a grand opening show or even an open house, it's just a discrete, limited audience...
I know I read it somewhere before. I have a show and wanted to play this game. I already put on the invitations to bring your ugliest kitchen tool.
Instead of just picking a winner, I read something about writing a description of you ugly kitchen tool. Then read it replacing the the kitchen...
I have a customer that needs to return her kitchen shears because they are sticking. I called and got a reference number but now what do I do? Its first return! Thanks
I am putting this thread here in Team Training- because I thought about how many consultants (new and old) who probably could use a little training or tips or something in this area. We all know that many consultants start this biz and don't know much or anything about cooking. So it stands...
Do the kitchen shears come with a cover like the old white ones? My customer is looking for a cover that she can mount like the old white shears. I don't have the new shears and the catalog just says that they come with a cover. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
I just started with Pampered Chef (haven't even received the kit yet), and my sister would like to do a show, but her kitchen is being renovated. She wants to do it during my first 30 days, but won't be able to utilize her kitchen. She would like to have it at a pavilion near her house. There...
I went to an overnight retreat for my NED and her downline. Someone talked about making the DCB within your top 5 products. I never thought about it this way. So my newest goal is to work on that! I looked last night, #5 product has 82 sold and my DCB is around 25 so I have some work to do...
Is this a good cookbook?? With all of the cool tools we have that are "kid-friendly", I don't know why we don't have some current items geared toward kids. OR were they just not good sellers in the past??
Thank you!!
I've had a few customers ask me what the choppers can do that the shears can't and vice versa. Which is better, which is more versatile? I don't have the choppers yet, so I haven't been sure how to answer.
Does anyone have the old Kitchen Shears from last catalog new in the Package?? I have a consultant that is looking for a few pairs for customers.
Thanks

OK....I didn't realize until tonight that PC discontinued the Kitchen Shears....WHY?????? I LOVE THEM!! They were a great seller and now there's just the professional shears which are great and all....but I love my little handy kitchen shears.
Sorry fellow Cheffers just needed to say...
A January host has rescheduled her Kids in the Kitchen show to Sat. Feb.13th (just so glad that she rescheduled due to plumbing, etc., problems in the house). Does anyone have ideas for a Valentine's theme Kids in the Kitchen show? I'm thinking: making a Valentine cookie cake on the stone...
I'm a very new consultant and would appreciate your help. I have scheduled an event to "pamper a church kitchen", basically a show at the church with the secretary being the host. I created an invitation which has been mailed and included in church newsletter (see attachment). I would like help...
Does anyone know if there is a way to sharpen the older style kitchen shears or is it best just to replace them with the newer style? Thanks for your help!
So I'm stuck at home today! Thought I would start something to see what everyone thought might be coming out new next season.
I really want a cookbook stand! I use one on my display to hold some of the cookbooks. Would be a good idea just to have one to be able to sell also!
Potatoes, Bananas, and eggs - OH MY! ;)

Haven't tried them yet, but heck, why not! I can see the potato trick working- since it's alot like blanching tomatoes, peaches, etc.
I was researching for an upcoming seminar/workshop I'm doing (), and came across a few lists of Time-saving Kitchen tools. Here is one of them, and I found it interesting just how many products we have and how I'd totally agree with them being time savers (and often time- money savers...
Hi, everyone!
I have a fundraiser with my son's elementary school--approximately 500 students. After explaining all of the fundraiser options with the PTO, they decided to hold an evening cooking show for parents. I was surprised since their main concern is that they want to do something...
I have a host interested in having a show for the ladies group to restock the church kitchen. I am interested to know if anyone has done this and what success you have had with it. Also, does anyone have a full-page invite already made up? I did a quick search and didn't see anything right...
Not really sure how to reply to the email I just received. I personally don't like and don't use the black ones and was so happy when they came out with the new ones.Just curious about the kitchen shears I purchased last fall. They have become very dull, I can barely cut through anything...

So my question is how do you store your kitchen tools? I am fairly new so I don't have doubles of anything. I have been keeping some stuff in the kitchen and some in my office on a shelf but then I am always running back and forth to get stuff at home to cook with then stuff from the kitchen...
Anyone have a good kitchen mat that they recommend? A few weeks ago, the one I have had for years had to be thrown out, and I really miss having a mat.
Ok, I made this the other day for home. I followed the recipe cooked it for 10 minutes, and I didn't get the lava effect.
Although yummy, it seemed the frosting cooked right into the cake....lol
