Sounds good! We can brainstormBren706 said:Lacy, I would love to join you for lunch on Monday, we can weep about not promoting!
Deb, I will join you on the bus!
DebbieJ said:Okay, how about the first night of conference (14th) at the Java Room at the Sheraton at 8 p.m.?? That way we all have time to do dinner with our clusters first.
I'd like to join you! Let me know where, for sure!lacychef said:Well, I will try to make it....how far is the Sheraton from the Palmer? If I can talk a clustermate or two into coming with me I'll go, but I doubt I'll journey by myself!
How many of us aren't promoting by conference? We can meet up for lunch on Monday too...maybe at McCormick.

lacychef said:What all places are at McCormick? The only thing I can remember is McD's...wonder if restaurants are listed on their website?

The Plate Room Food Court, located on level 2.5 of the South building, offers an interesting array of items available to take on the run or to be enjoyed in the adjacent seating area. Six food concepts are available at this location, including Little Italy, Antipasto Bar, Pacific Rim, the American Grill, The Carvery and Fiesto Bravo. So whether you are craving a gourmet sandwich or salad, Mandarin Orange Chicken with Fried Rice or an authentic Pastrami Reuben, you can find it all at the Plate Room Food Court.
Here's a link (I hope) for an interactive floor plan of McCormick.

lacychef said:See, I don't think I could find this area last year....is it by the McD's? Or another level? My directions get all messed up when in the city....
Yeah, maybe we should just meet inside McCormick...maybe at the entrance to where you walk across to the other side or something. I feel better knowing you got lost last year!pamperedalf said:Lacy It is one level below McD's and all the way at the end. I got lost last year but I found it. I can meet up w/ you and show you where, it was decent food I thought.

Palmer House to Sheraton is about a mile and you could walk it if you felt up to it. Or just walk to Columbus and hop on a bus that will take you straight there. Now from the Hilton, that is another story....no way, no how am I walking!momoftwins said:I will be staying at the Palmer House too - so maybe the 3 of us could take a cab together! If I remember right from when I stayed at the Sheraton the first year I went to conference it would be quite a walk from the Palmer House.
