What Was the Last Concert You Went To? and the Best?

In summary, the best concert I ever went to was Roger Waters last year. The best show I ever saw was Tori Amos at Lollapalozza 4. The last concert I went to was Foreigner/Styx/Def Lepard.

I don't know. They said in the q&a that it is separate from the lead system.

I got the email too! I checked on CC and I have quite a few names on there. Many are from my inactive consultants some of whom live up to 2 hours away. I didn't think I'd get those! Looks like I have a lot of calling to do in the next few days!

How do you check if you have names on CC? I don't have any downline who have been inactive for more than a year, but I didn't get an e-mail about it either.

On CC click on LEadership & Training and then on Reports and then on Host Referral Reports

I'm happy with the list I have. There are six without phone numbers so that will be a challenge. Only 2 on the list (5 pages!) were consultants of mine so we will see. It never hurts to ask and I'm roaring to get more bookings. I've challenged myself to get 8 for Sept. I have 3 now and an old host from 3 years ago called out of the blue tonight wanting a Sept. show! And I have one more show to go this month to help get bookings. My goal is to get at least 2 more on the books this week. That would put at me at 6 for Sept!!! I have to check in with my NED on he 29th to report that I have at least 8 Sept shows scheduled so hopefully this will help!

Okay, I just looked through my list and I can't figure it out! Some of these are kind far from me and I know that there are other directors who live closer. However, I also know that these directors are not submitting enough to qualify for HO leads so I'm wondering if that's why I got some. One is a good hour from me. But like I said, I want the shows and I just got new tires so I don't mind driving. Plus, then I can recruit so I don't have to go back there to do shows when it's snowing! :D

  • #56
I guess I don't have any b/c I don't have a report!:(

I have the sales in. Hmmm.....my director retired over a year and a half ago too!!

  • #57
I don't have a report either.

  • #58
I was so excited because I went to cluster reports and low and behold there it was!! But, no names on it!

I have 20, and only 5 of them were my consultants

I think one problem will be that some of these consultants never really got out of their family, we will probably be calling a lot of mom's and stuff

Good point Shana!

I will be interested to see what if anything we get out of these leads. I just figure its a shot at new business. I think they're timing is perfect with the new catalog coming out and fall coming. I'm very thankful the company did this for us. I would love for this to be a once a year thing so we'll see. About 1/3 of mine had email addresses so if I can't reach them I can at least add them to my customer email newsletter list.
It will be fun to read everyones results from here.

  • #63
Some are my past consultants and I was really surprised that the consultant that was 2 hours from me is on the list. Her host lives in SC!

The others mostly had just one host each so I am thinking probably a relative or best friend like Shana said.

Well, I am happy for the leads and I will definitely follow up.

When the email came out I contacted all of my inactive consultants and asked if they had any interest in coming back, if they wanted to do a show and/or if they would give me their lead list (I do ask for that once they admit they have quit but they never get it to me).

2 responded so far. Both said they weren't interested in returning. One didn't even want the book (major personal stuff going on there - so glad I contacted her). The other said send a book and will do a show probably in October - she moved to the beach and DH & I love going that way so we'll make a weekend of it and do a show while there!

I'll followup with the rest of them too.

I didn't get the email and there's no report on CC for me, so I guess there are none in my area who have been inactive over a year. Mine that have been inactive for over a year are all out of state.:( The one local ones who are inactive either never submitted shows or it hasn't been a year. I was hoping to get some local ones by default, but no such luck. I'm assuming they did those all in one day and no other referrals will be made. That's ok....I have plenty of leads to keep me busy. When my director stopped selling about six months ago, she passed along her host list to me, as well as emails for everyone she had on her newsletter list. I'm slowly making my way through that huge list. I wish there was more time in the day!;)

Good luck with all your leads! I hope this turns into something for those of you who got some.

WOW Becky! You have a goldmine with your director's list! That's great!

According to the q&a this is a test program. I think if we are successful with it we'll see it again.

Thanks! I hope it will be helpful.

I've gotten a couple shows out of it so far. When I was desperate back in April knowing I was SO close to TPC, I broke down and asked her for her list. I felt weird doing it, but she had no problem (I guess I don't know why she would have). None of those helped out for TPC except for one booking I got in May. (Luckily I was able to make TPC without much more help :)) BUT I do have potential future bookings and who knows what other business as I work my way through the list. I've at least left messages for most of her past hosts, but her customer base was huge, so that's taking longer. I've been slowly sending out email newsletters with a special hello to them as my former director's customers and explaining who I am, but many do ask to be unsubscribed. Oh well. At least I know they get the emails!;) It's hard because my dang Comcast account limits how many emails I can send out a day or every 24-48 hours so I have to time these around when I'm sending out emails to my address book.

I'll slowly make my way through there though! Luckily she's only been inactive for 6 months or so, so her past hosts haven't gone into that newest mailing.

I don't know why we should feel funny asking for a customer list from recently inactive consultants if we and they know for sure they are gone. It's in the best interest of the customer. At the fair I did I always ask if they have a consultant they do business with. Never want to sep on anyones toes. Many said theirs had quit. Now they're mine.

The last show I went to was Pantera with Sepultera before DH and I got married. The best show EVER was Moz....I still to this day am in love with Morrissey. I wanted to see Three Days Grace last spring when I lived in VA Beach but it didn't happen.

Oh and my first show was INXS...The Kick tour.

Last fall we saw Vince Gill it was a tie betwen his concert and Reba's

The last concert I went to was December of last year and it was Kenny Loggins. I love Kenny Loggins and have been to more of his concerts than anyone else's. A longtime friend of mine (we figured out we've been friends for 25 years!) and I have always gone to KL concerts since I was 14. Anyway, we had a blast, I indulged a little too much (I don't drink like that very often), so I went to bed soon after getting back to the hotel/casino. :indifferent0016: We had planned to go play around in the casino, but I never made it that far!

Probably the best concert I have been to was U2 somewhere around '92-'93 in Denver, CO back when I was in college. I've been wanting to go to another concert of theirs for YEARS!!

Some of the best concerts I have seen: every time I have seen Tori Amos, Lollapalozza 1, 3, and 4, and Pearl Jam in 2003.

The absolute BEST and last concert I saw was Roger Waters last year. He did Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety and they entire show was truly amazing. It was a dream come true for a Floyd Fanatic like me :)

I was supposed to see Morrissey in 97ish and he CANCELLED the show the day of. I was livid... but I still loooooove him. JEALOUS of ERIN!!

My whole family goes to see Tempest play every spring, and also the Sandcarvers at a local pub. That's my favorite show. Hands down. We do lots of music festivals and pub shows. Last larger concert I went to other than that was Tim O'Brien about 3 years ago.

Saw Keith Urban a few months ago - it was awesome. Not a lot of flahy pyrotechnicas or anything but he is very good with interacting with the audience.

We had total nose bleed tickets that we paid an arm and a leg for! It was 91, I think...his first North American tour. My DH saw the show at the Hollywood Bowl but that was before we met. I saw the Cure in 92..that was a great show too...we had floor seats. Oh and Pornos for Pyros in Mexico at this little club.....it was great.

Lollapolozza in 94...DH and I went. The Smashing Pumpkins were so bad and I was dying to see them! Billy's voice was just gone. As for the festival itself.....I was just po'd the whole time. All these little 14's running around with kool-aid in their hair. It just bugged me...I mean it was jsut annoying and hard to enjoy the music.

The last concert I saw was Foreigner/Styx/Def Lepard this past summer.
My favorite was Garth Brooks and Celine Dion!!!! They were awesome shows!!!

  • #78

Bon Jovi!!!! The last concert I went to was Nickelback/three days grace/stained:)

The last concer that I went to see was George Strait but the best concert that I have ever been to was Tim and Faith Soul 2 Soul....Toby Keith also puts on a great concert.

The last concert I was to was my own, but I sort of doubt that counts. The best concert I was ever to was Johnny Favourite. It was out and out inspirational. I wanted to leave my life behind and tour with the band SOOOO bad.

  • #83
Last concert I was at was Nas and the best might be Tom Petty a few years back.

I go to a TON of concerts. Most of them now are all Christian bands. Before we became Christans, my favorite concert was Ziggy Marley and the Wailers.

Since becoming a Christian, my favorite concerts have been Third Day and the farewell concert of THE O.C. SUPERTONES.

The last concert I went to was Jeremy Camp (acoustic).

Last October I took my husband to the Rolling Stones concert for his birthday. I got great seats 3 weeks before on ebay. The concert was mind blowing. Mick Jagger has the energy of a 25 year old. Best concert we've ever seen!

I wouldn't mind seeing them in concert:).

I also would like to see Madonna and Justin Timberlake and Micheal Jackson (when he was in his prime) as I heard they were the BEST performers to see in concert!

Have you ever seen Steven Curtis Chapman or Phillips, Craig and Dean? They are awesome. I also loved Rascal Flatts, saw them last year.

Last concert I went to was in 2004 - Prince - was in the 10th row - awesome concert - he sounds as good as he did when he first started playing. Best concert - hands down - was the Eagles reunion tour in 1994 - they sounded great together and played all their solo hits as well. Luckily when I was in college at the University of Illinois - they put on a lot of concerts at Assembly Hall and I was able to see a bunch of bands for about $15 a show - can't beat that. Saw (in the mid to late 80's) - Journey, REO, Heart, Rod Stewart, Def Leppard, - just to name a few. I loved going to concerts then but now it's a production to get out and go to one (and way too expensive!)

Best concert I ever saw was U2 in 2003 and Springsteen when he reunited w/ the E Street Band in 99. Saw him in Cleveland AND went to Cincinatti to see him! I love The Boss!

I went to a country festival this summer where I saw Dierks Bentley (awesome) and Big and Rich (TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!) I love them! They put on a really good show! It was so much fun!

I've seen Aerosmith 3 times, they were great.

My sister and I go to a lot of country concerts. We win tickets for them mostly cuz we can't afford to buy them. But it's what we love to do!

couldn't tell ya the last concert I was at.....but the best one I've EVER been to, hands down...was KISS.
