Honestly...I think you should wear something that makes you feel AWESOME! If black pants, heels and a blouse are it then go for it!!!

Oh, Ann! No you haven't! :yuck: Inappropriate but not that get-up.chefann said:Erin- I've seen people at conference dressed that way. It was scary.
Well, I think someone from HO should have stopped them from getting on the shuttle and told them to put some clothes on!chefann said:Luckily, the woman I saw in that completely inappropriate attire mentioned above wasn't walking. But she still looked completely out of place, until one looked at her clustermates, who were all dressed similarly. And let's just say that none of them had the figure to look real good in strapless tops and hot pants, either. :yuck:
Day 3 is New Director walk, in the General Session after that day's workshop. It's in the morning, but not first thing. If you have nice, but painful, shoes for walking stage, carry them with you in your tote bag and wear comfy ones for the first part of the day.Koolotus said:hmmmmm,
Do they let us know which day we will walk?
I got a new outfit for the occassion and would hate to have to wear it all 3 days!!!
LOL
I got an awesome calf length skirt and a white tank with a white over shirt.
And my crocs
I have big honkin' tatoo's so short sleeves are out of the question!!
Someone please tell me if they let you know which day!!!
Thanks
She read the agenda that they have on CC. Contrary to public opinion Ann is not clairvoyant!Koolotus said:How come you know everything???
Awesome! Thank you so much!
You did not want me to wear the same outfit all three days!

Well, that and it'll be my 6th conference, 8th if you count Leaderships.BethCooks4U said:She read the agenda that they have on CC. Contrary to public opinion Ann is not clairvoyant!

Last year, they were broken up, but I don't remember what was in which general session. Maybe you can call the meetings dept and ask, since it'll be too late (in case it's Day 1) by the time you pick up your reg. packet.DebbieJ said:I wore a red dress when I promoted last year. I guess I wore my color, but not on purpose!
Anyone know when the TPC walk is? I need to figure out what to wear and have a workshop to present as well.....decisions, decisions....

Okay now this I totally agree with.DebbieJ said:May I just say one thing to everyone who walks? TAKE YOUR NAME BADGE OFF!!! You look like a doof when you wear it across the stage.

I guess I am off to get some...ahem...quality undergarments!

Brrr, a bit n*pply???

Exactly why I *always* wear slightly padded bras! The wind can blow the wrong way and I look like that! (Sorry if that's TMI for everyone!!)dannyzmom said:Amen sistah!!!
Can I just say...it was SO cold in the hotel in DC...and here I was in my thin cotton t-shirts walking to breakfast with my DH and kids (with my arms folder tightly across my chest)...by day 3 I broke out the padded bra just for a little, um, shall we say...coverage!?!?!?
As a new director at Pampered Chef, it is important to dress in professional and polished attire. This typically includes black pants or a skirt, paired with a blouse or top in a neutral color such as white, cream, or navy. Heels are also recommended to complete the look.
No, while black pants and heels are a common and professional choice, you are welcome to wear other colors and styles that make you feel confident and comfortable. Just make sure to keep the overall look polished and put-together.
To avoid any self-consciousness about "arm jiggle," opt for tops with sleeves or that provide some coverage for your arms. You can also consider wearing a blazer or cardigan over your top for additional coverage and a professional touch.
Yes, you can definitely wear jewelry and accessories to add some personality to your outfit. However, make sure to keep it minimal and tasteful. Avoid anything too flashy or distracting.
No, Pampered Chef does not have any specific requirements for brand or type of clothing for directors. As long as your attire is professional and appropriate, you are free to wear any brand or style that you prefer.
