- Bath and Body Works Products (just got a set of trial size shower gel, lotion and spritz as a "going to conference" gift from my AD)
- business books (my Director gave us Martha Stewart's book)
- nice pen (not necessarily a Cross or a Mont Blanc, but something refillable and comfy to hold)
- gift cards
- chocolate or other candy

Why not chip in and buy him/her dinner one night?
Consider personalized items such as a custom mug, a monogrammed tote bag, or a framed photo from a previous event. Other ideas include a high-quality notebook, a gift card to their favorite restaurant, or a pampering gift set to help them relax after the conference.
Absolutely! Taking into account your director's hobbies and interests can make your gift more meaningful. If they enjoy cooking, a unique kitchen gadget or a gourmet ingredient could be perfect. If they love reading, a bestselling book in their favorite genre would be appreciated.
It's best to stick to a moderate price range that reflects your appreciation without being over the top. A thoughtful gift that shows you care is more important than the price tag. Aim for something that feels personal rather than extravagant.
A group gift can be a great idea! It allows everyone to contribute and can lead to a more substantial present. Just make sure to coordinate with your team to choose something that everyone agrees on and that reflects the collective appreciation for your director.
If you're unsure about your director's preferences, opt for a more general gift that is widely appreciated, such as a gift card, a nice pen, or a stylish planner. You could also consider a conference-related item, like a branded tote or a portable charger, which can be useful during the event.
