Spring Launch Product Discussion

is not how I pictured my day going!Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*Uploading photos: You can also make a private folder on Facebook, put your photos there & then paste the URL links here with the [ url] and [ /url] boxes in front & behind the address. That way, you are not uploading to the Chef Success files section and the photos are bigger on the screen to see. ;)I'm scheduled to go to Arlington tomorrow, but my in-laws cancelled on me today. I have no sitter & am having ZERO luck finding one for all day. This... is not how I pictured my day going!

THIS! It can be showcased at literally every single show.

Are you already registered for Saturday's launch (I assume that is what you are talking about)? Because they don't do at-the-door registration.

No, I didn't register*– but the Canadian site says we can register by phone up to 48hrs prior. I think I will go.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*Sorry but this post is just wrong. They specifically asked that we not tell anybody about the new products and what happened at spring launch. It just makes me so sad that we feel the need to pass the information along. I know it says spoiler alert, but it still is just terrible that we do it. You can justify it in anyway you want, but HO specifically begged us not to say anything. Shame on all of you!!!!!

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*For those of you who went to launch. You do know that youare breaking a very heart felt request from Home Office to just keep a secret for 1 week. One tiny little week. My last post on here was deleted. But I am very ashamed of all of you and especially the leaders on here. You are leaders and should act like it. I will bet the bank that if your lauch was second you too would be very bummed to see all of this shared information. You can justify it however you want, but it is just so unethical to be sharing what was annouced at lauch.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*DebPC, imagine the offspring of a microplane grater and the Crinkle Cutter. Ergonomic handle, rocking 2" wide section that smashes the garlic to make a paste.

The GF cookbook is Pampered Chef favorites made gluten-free. It isn't a cookbook for shows due to the cook time for the crusts, but I'm excited to get it and try making the Chicken Broccoli Braid without crescent rolls! They did not pass it around so I don't know what else is in it, just that you need xanthum gum to make anything in it.

How would that compare to what you get from the garlic press?
Gonna need a drawer for all of the garlic tools alone! Haha

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*Garlic Press leaves little pieces intact. Keep rocking and you have a paste that supposedly works great in garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*Sort of disappointed to see the lack of integrity in this thread, since we all promised content of Spring Launch would be a secret until Feb. 10th and the first new product post was at 12:41 2/2, before the 1st day of launch has ended.

So much for a promise made, is a promise kept :(

That's AWESOME news. I've been cutting out wheat, and while I can do my own thing quite often, I had NO idea what to use in lieu of crescent rolls. Will definitely be nice to have this book and some new options.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*I made the Deep Dish Peach Pie from the new SB & it was really good. It's tart, which we like, and was GREAT with vanilla ice cream. It's really more of a crumble, or similar, than pie due to the topping. It's a recipe that's worth a 'Repeat' in our house! I would also think you could substitute other frozen fruit fro the peaches.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*Is the Cheese Shaver a planer? And does the Corn and Vegie Brush have a handle?

  • #172
Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*The cheese crumbler is NOT a planer.

The Veggie Brush does not have a handle. It has two different types of bristles. One on each side. There is a plastic cover that covers the bristles you don't want to use to it is comfortable in your hand.

Re: *SPOILER* Spring Launch Product Discussion *SPOILER*I am so happy that the tea infuser is a glass carafe. Many of my customers are trying to stay away from plastic. excited to see this and the gluten free cookbook.
FYI: I find that after each launch I walk away less excited with the products than I thought I would be. But I really think it's because of all the build up before the event. And then when I actually start using the products, I get excited again. It always works out and products I think will never sell sometimes are favorites. You never know. :)

Any size prep bowls, even the square bowls. It will work with any bowl that is slightly smaller than the lid. They made a point of telling us that it WILL NOT work with the batter bowls because they have a spout.

I hope they will add more lids that can be purchased. Once you have a pump, you don't need more. I own a food saver but would use this. You don't have to have "special" food saver containers to use this. I will love this to keep guacamole green!

Yes! You're absolutely right, extra lids without the pump would be great. I'm quite excited to try these.
