So happy to have chatted with you tonight... even if it was for just a few minutes

Yes, indeed. I missed chatting with you! It'd been toooo long.

I'm insane... really I am. I tried making sushi last night!

It was very time consuming... and making the rice was the easy part. That they say it's sticky is an understatement... LOL... I learned a lot though...

Like a teeny tiny bit of wasabi goes a LOOOOONGGGG way... and too much rice is a bad thing... lol.. and our saute pan holds heat a long time... I browned sesame seeds on it and took them off after they were browned... that pan continued to sizzle for at least 10 minutes after removal... lol

Sounds like a good testimony for cookware sales! You are so creative and daring with food! I am a chicken

I wasn't always daring with food... was a time I was afraid to bake yeasted bread! LOL... Don't know why... after I tried it, found out it wasn't that hard! I think the whole yeast/water temp thing worried me. LOL... Now that I can make sushi rice (way easier than the sushi itself! LOL) I'm really excited to try onigiri (rice balls)... they can be soooo cute! On the LJ bento community I belong to, a gal made a batch of rice balls and made little faces on each one... they were so expressive and cute!

HI lisa, long time no chat. Hope you are doing good!
