I'm putting together a supply order and I'm looking at the display cards. I think I'm going to put them in a binder because I can't afford the flip chart on this order.

Do the cards get updated every season? The Simple Additions one for example. The picture on the one I have has a striped SA on it and of course that's no good for a September show. Because you just KNOW if I have cards with no-longer-available merchandise, THAT will be the piece everyone wants!

I feel like Jillysue. I want it to be just right and if I can't get this looking "just so" then I just can't do it and I'll have to do something else!

I have an SA one that has the Dots on it.....so I'm sure they must update them. I put them in the Flip Chart, but then, as I talk about them, I take them out and pass them around - so I think a binder would be just fine. Right now, I am using the Incredible 30 Minute Chicken, the Bevs & Bites, and the Chocolate Bliss cards - promoting the new Theme Shows for the Fall.

Well, the stripes aren't very obvious. The card looks nice otherwise, I think I'll still use it. Thanks for your help!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of using binders for organizing supply orders?

Binders provide a structured way to keep documents organized, allowing you to categorize and easily access different types of supply orders. They can hold various sizes of papers, include dividers for quick reference, and are portable, making it easy to take them to events or meetings.

How do flip charts compare to binders in terms of organization?

Flip charts are more visual and can be used for presentations, making them ideal for showcasing products or ideas during meetings. However, they may not provide the same level of detailed organization as binders, which can store multiple documents and notes in a more structured manner.

Which option is more cost-effective for organizing supply orders?

Binders are generally more cost-effective for organizing supply orders, as they can be reused and customized with different inserts. Flip charts may require ongoing purchases of paper and markers, which can add up over time, especially if used frequently.

Can I use both binders and flip charts together for better organization?

Yes, using both can enhance your organization strategy. Binders can store detailed supply orders and documents, while flip charts can be used for visual presentations and brainstorming sessions. This combination allows for both structured information storage and dynamic presentations.

What should I consider when choosing between binders and flip charts?

Consider your specific needs, such as the type of information you need to organize, how often you present to others, and your personal preference for visual versus written organization. If you frequently conduct presentations, flip charts may be beneficial, while binders are better for detailed documentation.
