I opened my email this morning to find that a friend of mine, who I haven't seen in 2 years, set up her wedding registry with me! This is my first registry - so am not really quite sure what to do next!

I think I remember reading that they will receive some catalogs from home office, is this correct? What else do they get if anything, and what do you all do once the registry has been established? I want to call her, but would like to at least have some knowledge before I pick up that phone!

thanks a bunch.

HO sends a catalog and 30 cards that are the size of a business card that brides can insert in their invitations. Ask your friend how many she needs, call HO, and they will send the amount needed directly to your bride. Ask your friend now about having a bridal shower. Get the date scheduled, or get the information about the person that may like to host this for you.

Explain the benefits of the wedding registry. Stay in touch!! I send recipes, etc. to keep your name and PC in mind.

Hi Patti,Congratulations on your friend's upcoming wedding! It's always exciting to be a part of someone's special day.As for the registry, yes, your friend will most likely receive catalogs from the home office. These catalogs usually have a list of items that they can choose from for their registry. Your friend can also add items from the store directly to their registry. As for what you can do, you can either go to the store or check online to see what items your friend has on their registry. This will give you an idea of what they are looking for and you can choose a gift from there. If you're not sure what to get, you can always ask your friend or someone close to them for suggestions. If you do decide to call your friend, you can ask them about their registry and let them know that you're excited to be a part of their big day. They will most likely appreciate the thought and effort you put into choosing a gift from their registry.I hope this helps and happy shopping!
