I have an order that I sent in a week ago, and it's still in "Received" status. Is this the norm right now? I know the holidays are approaching, but I haven't seen an order take this long to process in about two years. Is anyone else having longer ship times? Or should I call to see if...

I hate it - whenever I try to demo it, it fails on me. I can usually make it work at home though... makes no sense. LOL! I should probably start using it more often, since I cut myself on the USG recently ;) but it really is just more cumbersome.

So has anyone tried the Barkeeper's Friend on it? I suggested it to someone today (whose dipper did go through the dishwasher), but that was a hunch and I told her I wasn't sure if it would help. I'm sure it doesn't restore the shiny finish, but does it at least clean up the tarnish enough that...

Right - from what I remember the cover for the Food Chopper isn't supposed to go in there, even though the chopper itself can.
