I just talked to my DH last night about scheduling time that he and the kids might leave the house or play on the XBox, so I can make calls. I need to get those show's booked, especially since I told my three kids Mom was taking them to Disney World next year.
I have the tracking chart on my closet door in my bedroom, which is where my "office" is. The boys are constantly asking when we are going. I CAN NOT and WILL NOT let my children down!
I hope to be able to post some great result like you come Sunday night. My goal is to book February and March by the end of the weekend. I would like to throw in some recruit leads/interviews also.![]()

I have tried that, however, they don't seem to grasp the concept (they are 4 and 3). Part of the issue, is I am home by myself at night with the kids, because DH works until 8:00 pm and doesn't get to after 9:00 pm.
I think I am going to have them watch a Disney movie with their Mickey Mouse ear hats (that the PC fairy left them) while I am making calls and see if that helps.
This phrase typically refers to overcoming the anxiety or fear associated with using the phone for sales calls, customer follow-ups, or recruiting in direct sales. It highlights the importance of stepping out of one's comfort zone to achieve success in the business.
To overcome phone fear, start by practicing your pitch with friends or family. Gradually increase your calls to potential customers or team members. Prepare a script to help guide your conversations, and remind yourself that rejection is a natural part of the sales process.
Using the phone allows for personal interaction, which can build stronger relationships with customers. It also enables immediate feedback, helps clarify questions, and can lead to quicker sales decisions compared to email or messaging.
Keep a journal or spreadsheet to log your calls, noting the outcomes and any feedback received. Set specific goals for the number of calls you want to make each week, and review your progress regularly to celebrate your successes and identify areas for improvement.
If anxiety persists, consider seeking support from a mentor or joining a group of fellow direct sellers who can share their experiences and tips. Additionally, practicing relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing or visualization, can help reduce anxiety before making calls.
