I have a guest paying partial payment with a gift certificate...how do I enter this in the payment section??????? I don't see a gift certificate as an option..HELP!!

You can not accept gift certificates. They need to go through the HO for these. The reason for this is the person who sold the GC already made the commission off of it!

SO what does she do with it???????????

When she received her gift certificate it would have had instructions on how to redeem it. She needs to call HO to place her order. Sorry she can't use it at your show!:(

That's one thing I don't like about the gift certificates. No matter what, people think they can use them at shows. I like doing my own for people. I wonder how many of those people attempt to use at shows. Actual gifts, I don't think that has happened (they use them quickly!), but those that I give at raffles...

OK thanks..I wouldn't get commission on it, seems like a pain in the butt though as she placed a large order.

And they have to pay direct shipping when they use them with HO. A service you may want to provide is helping her pick something that comes out really close to the certificate amount after shipping and tax.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a partial payment with a gift certificate in Pampered Chef?

A partial payment with a gift certificate refers to using a gift certificate to cover a portion of the total order amount, while the remaining balance is paid through another payment method, such as a credit card or cash.

How do I enter a partial payment with a gift certificate in the payment section?

To enter a partial payment with a gift certificate, first, input the total order amount. Then, enter the amount of the gift certificate in the designated field. After that, input the remaining balance to be paid using another payment method.

Can I use multiple gift certificates for a single order?

No, you can only use one gift certificate per order for partial payment. If you have multiple gift certificates, you will need to choose the one with the highest value or combine them in a different way before placing your order.

What happens if the gift certificate amount exceeds the order total?

If the gift certificate amount exceeds the order total, the excess amount will not be refunded or credited back to you. The gift certificate will only cover the total order amount, and any remaining balance will be forfeited.

Is there a limit on how much of the order can be paid with a gift certificate?

There is no specific limit on how much of the order can be paid with a gift certificate, as long as the gift certificate amount does not exceed the total order amount. You can use it for any portion of the payment, as long as the remaining balance is settled with another payment method.
