Yes! People who are interested in PC don't mind at all... and they wouldn't give your their real email addr in that situation unless they were!

I have 3 booths scheduled in Oct/Nov and I'm really looking forward to them!

I use eventlister.com. It costs $40 to join but I think it's well worth it. I had several to choose from in my area!

did u put the current catalog in a binder with sleeves and had all the specials on the poster board? that looks nice.

Congrats on a great event! And the table looks super nice too!!! :D

Thank you! I actually got most of my ideas from you!!

just curious.... did you know 3 other PC booths would be there?

I'm surprised that they let more than just one of the same vendor attend this. I am curious to see how you did and did you know that other PC vendors were there. When I plan any booths of my own and any booths that I have attended they don't allow more than one of the same vendor which is nice. Like the pictures. Did you put the pink basket out for Help Whip Cancer stuff?

Awesome !!
What's the wheel of fortune thing you have there?

Congrats Kasper, that gives me motivation as a new consultant. You go girl!!:sing:

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! I even printed off one of these as a reference!!! I have sold around $200 so far this weekend setting up similar. I'm at an event with another PC vendor. Hoping the weather holds out today. We are there from 10-2 with rain in the forecast! This booth this weekend has given me so much more motivation b/c I have done so rotten at the last 2-3!

Frequently Asked Questions

What strategies did you use to attract customers to your booth?

To attract customers to my booth, I focused on creating an inviting and visually appealing display. I used bright colors, organized my products neatly, and included engaging signage that highlighted special offers. Additionally, I interacted with passersby, offered free samples, and demonstrated some of the products to showcase their benefits.

How did you prepare for your first booth event?

Preparation for my first booth event involved thorough planning. I researched the event to understand the target audience, selected the right products to showcase, and ensured I had enough inventory. I also practiced my sales pitch, prepared promotional materials, and set up a checklist to ensure I didn’t forget any essential items on the day of the event.

What were the biggest challenges you faced during the event?

One of the biggest challenges I faced was managing the flow of customers while trying to provide personalized attention to each one. Additionally, I encountered some technical issues with my payment processing system, which I resolved by having a backup payment option ready. Staying organized and calm helped me navigate these challenges effectively.

How did you follow up with leads after the event?

After the event, I followed up with leads by sending personalized thank-you emails to everyone who expressed interest in my products. I included a recap of the event, shared special offers, and invited them to join my mailing list for future promotions. This helped maintain the connection and encouraged potential customers to make a purchase later.

What advice would you give to someone planning their first booth?

My advice for someone planning their first booth is to start with a solid plan and be well-prepared. Choose a location that aligns with your target market, create an attractive display, and engage with customers genuinely. Don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards and promotional materials, and be open to learning from the experience to improve for future events.
