Can a host of a fundraiser choose not to take the host benefit in exchange for more money being donated to the show? Or is it take or leave it kind of thing?

I'm pretty sure it's a take or leave it sort of thing. But what they can do is order it then raffle it off to raise a little more money.

I just had a host do this in January. She had a catalog show where guests could order for themselves and/or a raffle. She earned the extra $100, so she bought $200 of free product and then used her 60% off item and it all went to a raffle.

In the official PC fundraiser, no free product is earned. The host can get the 60% item but they still have to pay shipping. The company gives 10-15%. You could do a cooking show where free is earned and then raffle it or I know some consultants will take the free product to boost their own stash and donate their commission instead (20%). Lots of ways to make it work for the group.

Not if it was a fundraiser set up as one of those where PC donated 10% or 15%.
