This might be a silly question, but if you have a 2 cup measure all why would you need a 1 cup?
I use my 1 cup more to measure smaller sized measurements. It seems like a waste to dirty the 2 cup when I'm only measuring 1/4 cup brown sugar or honey.

Restlyled Chillzanne Rec. Server Lid- Frosted so there are less scratches

I agree with the frosted lid but want them to make them to fit the current ones so that people who already own them could just buy the lids instead of the whole thing. Also would like a way to fasten the lids on so that they are sucure for transport to the potluck or whatever.

Well, here are my old lists:My October, 2007 list:Stainless tea kettle
Block Holder/carrying case for forged cutlery
Clip 'n spread back
Cookbook holder
A nice "old fashioned" rolling pin - some weight to it for the "big dough"
A different color timer - it's been white for decades
A larger size silicone basting brush
A grill basket... (Hey, we got this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
A Season's Best plastic sleeve (for our customers who wouldn't use a ziploc)
SA salt and pepper shakers and holder
A stoneware drying rackMy December list:
I like a vase for HWC, something even classier.
I wish we had a "lettuce knife" not just a pink one this upcoming season. That would be a nice spring add-on. (Hey, guess what - they gave us this too!!!! :) )
I think the picnic basket and outdoor stuff would be great...maybe calmer colors...the khaki will blend well...
Tea kettle has still been high on the wishlist. Also, would like to see a tea pot to match SA or the carafe...

I also REALLY want a basket to hold the Large Bar Pan. Would be so nice.

OMG, I love this idea. I had never thought of one before. Now that you mention it, I would love one and use it all the time:thumbup:

I'd like to see all the Exec and S/S items available separately, open stock. Price break on the set, perhaps.

My customers could assemble their own 'set', based on their cooking preferences :) Me too!

Another vote for this one too. I would really like to get the 8 qt stockpot.
I like the cookbook stand idea too.

I have had a request for a bakers press (a smaller version of the grill press).
Would love to see more Kids in the Kitchen stuff, and a cookbook that shows quick, inexpensive meals, with ingredients you may already have on hand (such as pantry items).

Some of the things I keep requesting are:
teakettle (to match either/both cookware lines)
SA teapot or Tea for One set (wouldn't a chubby, round little teapot with dots on it be cute?)
SA serving pieces: S&P shakers, creamer & sugar set, gravy boat (hello? cross-sell with the gravy separator!), butter dish
French butter keeper
cookbook stand to match the SA stands
spice rack sized to hold our seasonings
pot rack (not gonna happen, because there are too many options/sizes/shapes for it to appeal to a lot of people)

Some things I've recently added to my wish list:
chocolate or mocha sprinkles
2-cup batter bowl (a guest just asked me about this last night)
a few easy hot food mixes for fall and winter (cobbler, warm dips, etc.)

Mmmmmmmmm....mocha sprinkles!

I'm just answering the question, then you can have the thread back!

Dutch Oven is when you're lying in bed with someone else (just lying in bed, not anything kinky), and you fart under the covers, then pull them up over the other person's head so they're trapped under there with the smell.

I never said it was anything sophisticated or mature.

You may have the thread back now.

LOL

I have never heard of that either! Well...yes, I have heard of pulling the covers over DH's head when I toot in bed...but I didn't realize it had a NAME!!

Ok...now back to the original thread:

Medium Square Woven Selections (like the one from conference a few years ago that I WANT SOOOOO BAD!)

Large Bar Pan Woven Selections

Can opener color changed to black. My white ones discolor and turn kindof yellow and look old and nasty within a year or two.

I like a lot of the other suggestions!

Oh! We need to be able to order (even on replacement part order?) the small chillzanne bowl from the large server set. Dumb preggo brain isn't letting me think of the name of it!

Hey, great ideas here!

daniellemorgan - "Stainless Version of Tool-Turn-About"
This would be great! Or else, offer a choice of black or white.
Many people won't have black items in their kitchen. Make a white version that turns as well as the newer black version.

peichef "And... a french fry attachment for the mandoline if possible."
For a $60 mandoline, they really missed the mark on this one, omitting a julienne blade.

I've written HO about open stock cookware many times. I hope y'all do, too.

Hefty 18/10 stainless with a simple dot edging would go great with Simple Additions.

Acrylic tumblers to match Dots Simple Additions. There is actually a company named TAG that makes glassware that matches Simple Additions Dots...but I don't want to get into dealing with glassware getting broken....high-grade acrylic would be better.

Outdoor plates & stuff in red, white & blue. Those green colors are too harsh.

Stainless suds pumps & spritzers, I could also sell.

I have been using my tool turn-about tote to transport the trifle bowl. Perhaps they could insulate this.

I really love the woven selections......I think they should make a large one, as previously stated, however instead of it being flat for the large bar pan to sit on I think there should be a slight indentation towards the center so the pan can't slide off and you could place the large serving platter with handles in as well so it would be nested. Also I think they should come out with mini woven selections that our small square bowls can fit into and you could use it for thinks like a washclothes etc. Make sense?

I think the salt and pepper mill needs to be slightly bigger, it seems like I am forever refilling the salt and pepper.

I would really like it if they would sell the towel sets in sets of 4, not 2. I have so many random fricking PC towels around here it's crazy!! LOL

I think a few items they could get rid of are the Ice cream sandwich maker, the tiles pattern on the SA, the desser plates, the Celebrate plate, BBQ mitt, BBQ Basting Bottle, the Measure, Mix & Pour, the Hold 'N Slice, and the Plate Art & Stencil Set.

I think they need to add the 8 qt. SS bowl to the set instead of selling them separately, as well as the Easy Read Measuring Cups.

Just my humble opinion!!

I haven't read throught this thread but my wish list is:

stainless salt and pepper mill
more sturdy egg slicer plus
bring back the salsa mix
a more elegant looking pitcher for when you use the SA as plates
grease crock...that sits on your stove
serving fork and spoon...I didn't like our previous ones
spice rack
canister set
Maybe some holiday themed items.

I am always amazed at the new products each season. I look at the catalog and can't think of anything we need to add and they come up with tons of stuff. I do hope that we don't get more duplicate products in different colors...SA pieces, scrapers, towels, bar boards, etc. I don't need any more stones either. To be perfectly honest I don't need to bring another thing into this house...we are already overflowing....but I can't wait to see what they come up with.

I can't imagine getting rid of the measure mix & pour or the hold n slice.

I really want to see mini pie plates in the stoneware. Individual pies are such an easy way to make family and friends feel special. (And customers would surely want more than one! :))

What about a salt and pepper mill that grinds SEA SALT as well as pepper?

There are some great ideas here. I have one for restyling: HANDWASH ONLY in bold letters on the handle of the Ice Cream Dipper.

Another good idea!!

productsI love these ideas!
Plus...
Almond Flavoring, this would enhance my Almond Bars wonderfully!
Wheat Bread Mix
More healthy food prep products and recipes

Definate wants from guests...
Pineapple Wedger/Corer
more Woven Selections
Open Stock Cookware -You choose!
kid stuff
more black -love the black can opener idea!

So, I'm baking a cake and I thought of a tie-in w/product suggestions.....Bamboo Cake Tester!
Am I wrong?

You can purchase another one or use it specifically for iodized salt and sea salt. I had a one time!

Good idea. I have been using my Cookware Protectors.

I think the spoon rest dish needs to be on the replacement parts list.

SA butter dish, sugar bowl, creamer S&P in plain white and/or Dots now that they have gone with the dinnerware line. Also a medium Dots Serving Bowl.

I'd love to see a woven for a round bowl and a white bowl (similar to dots pattern), chillzane creamer, and many things that have been stated already.

My husband is hoping to see:
  • a holder for the forged cutlery
  • a nice food processor (for his guacamole)

I liked the idea about selling the cookware by the piece too.

Butter slicer, love the tea for one idea and some kids products too.

I did a show not too long ago and because I let the hosts kids come into the kitchen and help me hull the strawberries w/core and more and slice strawberries in the egg slicer plus and 'zest' my lemons, I sold extra products! Host was thrilled...so a big fat YES to "kids in the kitchen" products!!

Keep dreaming. We will never sell anything that plugs in.

I would love to see a DCB microwave recipe cookbook

I guess I don't have anything new to add to the list, but I love the idea a storage system for the FC, I'd really like to see the stoneware rack brought back, lids for SA, serving pieces for SA, pineapple corer and I love the idea of silverware to coordinate with the SA!

Great ideas people!!! We should definitely take the most popular ideas from this thread and all forward them to HO so that maybe someday we'll get some of these things!!

I have a stoneware rack if anyone wants it, just pay shipping. It takes up too much space in my cabinets and I don't like anything out on my countertops. I'm staring at it right now and am ready to put it in the goodwill box.

The spice rack is a great idea
what about cutlery?? we have plastic, but some nice cutlery to go with our nice pretty dishes.
bring the cake tester back ( people see mine in my TTA and always want to buy it.
I'm still thinking of more :)

Okay, is anyone else having problems with the handles of the newer pitchers? I use mine religously, making about 6 gallons of lemonade a week and my handles keep popping off of the plungers! I have 4 gallon size pitchers and NONE of them have handles on the plungers! Although, the white handled pitcher is still in tact... I really dont want to buy another one. (I really have 5 but I use one to wash my bras in...) I would really like to see the handles on the pitchers be more sturdy.

Other than that, everything else has been mentioned.

Oh and I'd love to have the small round stone back! I have clients that can't believe its gone.

You was your bras in the quick stir pitcher?? I put mine in the washing machine, am I missing a good tip here??
I haven't had a problem with my handles and my one pitcher is 5 + years old ( I think)
My mom just gave me her small round stone ( she had never used it) that thing is awesome, I have used it everyday, they do need to bring that back.
