Tonight I'll get home late so I think it's Pizza today!

Made a wonderful dessert last night called blueberry Cream so that's what we will be having again tonight.

Its Pasta Party night at my house - I have the Varsity Field Hockey team coming over for a big carb pigout! I have the 8 qt filled to the rim with sauce, big salad made, making some garlic knots, spagetti and Penne ala vodka. Ice cream sundaes for dessert!! (and I get to do this next week on Wedns. for my son's soccer JV soccer team!!) Going for mom of the year this year!! ;)

Let's see it could be smoked Porked Chops or breaded tenderlions. I have all day to decide. And to get ideas from here!

Going out with friends for DH's birthday....and then to see Fireproof!

There are a lot of Amish schools here that have had fundraising suppers almost every Friday night for weeks. So prior to the football game tonight we will be getting Marinated Chicken Breast and either chicken noodle or chili soup, ice cream and pie. Great win-win situation. They make money for their schools and we don't have to cook on Friday night!!:sing:

Homemade pizza with Italian Sausage and LOTS of cheese! :)

I'm not feeling overly motivated to cook anything fancy, and DH got turned down for yet another job this week so he's in a MAJOR funk... I was hoping a nice pile of melted cheese would cheer him up. :blushing:

Frequently Asked Questions

What ingredients do I need to make homemade pizza with Italian sausage and lots of cheese?

To make homemade pizza with Italian sausage and lots of cheese, you will need the following ingredients: pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled), shredded mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, and any additional toppings you prefer, such as bell peppers, onions, or olives.

How do I prepare the pizza dough?

If you're using store-bought pizza dough, simply follow the package instructions. For homemade dough, combine flour, yeast, water, salt, and olive oil in a bowl, knead until smooth, and let it rise for about an hour. Once risen, roll it out to your desired thickness.

What is the best way to cook the pizza?

The best way to cook the pizza is to preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven while it preheats. Once ready, transfer your assembled pizza onto the stone or a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Can I make the pizza ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the pizza ahead of time. Assemble the pizza and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before baking. Alternatively, you can freeze the assembled pizza for up to 2 months. Just make sure to wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and foil.

What are some variations I can try with this pizza recipe?

You can customize your pizza by trying different types of cheese, such as provolone or parmesan, adding vegetables like mushrooms or spinach, or using different meats like pepperoni or ham. You can also experiment with sauces, such as pesto or barbecue sauce, for a unique flavor.
