thanks so much for clearing that up for me

and replacement orders . . .

Maybe a silly question, but what do we do in the instances of replacement parts? Is that out of our pocket? So much great info on this thread -TIA :)

nope, not unless you really like there person! haha I tell the person what the cost is plus tax (no shipping on these..yahoo!!) and they pay me. :-) Then I just put it on my TPC debit card.

ok! Thanks :) I was confused why we submit as a non-comm order - I guess because we collect payment at the time? I have 2 customers that need the plastic collar for their food choppers. So I'm glad to have the info! Thanks again!!

Replacement parts are non-comm because we don't get commission on them. Nor do they count toward career sales.

Frequently Asked Questions

What sales do not count towards my commission?

Sales that do not count towards your commission include any items purchased at a discount that are not part of a party or event, personal purchases made for personal use, and any returns or exchanges processed within the commission period.

Do Host Specials count towards my commission?

No, Host Specials do not count towards your commission. While they provide great value to hosts, the discounted items purchased as part of a host special are not included in the commissionable sales total.

What are HWC items and do they count towards commission?

HWC stands for "Host Worthy Collection." These items are exclusive to hosts and are offered at a discount. However, sales from HWC items do not count towards your commission total.

If a customer uses a coupon, does that affect my commission?

Yes, if a customer uses a coupon or discount code on their purchase, the total sale amount is reduced, which may impact the commission you earn on that sale. Only the final sale amount after discounts will count towards your commission.

Are there any exceptions to what counts towards commission?

Generally, all sales must be made through a party or event to count towards commission. However, certain promotions or company policies may occasionally provide exceptions, so it's important to stay updated with the latest guidelines from Pampered Chef.
