I'm actually trying to make that transition now. I just got new stamps and such with my cell number on them. I did notice that I need to change it on my website and in P3 too. Having the number on my home message should help to clean up any stragglers who have the home number on old catalogs or receipts.etteluap70PC said:my cell is my business line. It is the # on all my paperwork. I have my home # on almost nothing.
The main difference between a home and cell phone message is the location of the phone. A home phone message is recorded on a landline phone that is typically connected to a physical phone line in your residence, while a cell phone message is recorded on a mobile device that operates on a wireless network.
To change your home phone message, you will need to access your phone's voicemail system and follow the prompts to record a new message. For a cell phone message, go to your voicemail settings and select the option to record a new greeting. You can also contact your service provider for assistance with changing your voicemail message.
Yes, you can have different messages for your home and cell phone. Most voicemail systems allow you to record separate greetings for each phone line. This can be useful if you have a home phone for personal use and a cell phone for work purposes.
Ideally, your phone message should be no longer than 30 seconds. This ensures that the caller gets all the necessary information without having to listen to a lengthy message. Keep it brief and to the point, including your name, a brief greeting, and instructions for leaving a message.
Yes, you can customize your phone message to fit your personal style or business needs. You can add a touch of humor, include your business name, or use a professional tone, depending on your preferences. Just remember to keep it clear and concise so that callers can easily understand the information.
