Well Tonight I had my 1st Open House. It was a success. I have 13 buying guests and am at $630 right now. I made the Mini Pesto Pizzas, Jerk Chicken Nachos, Brie with brown sugar and dijon, Tuxedo Brownie Bites with Peppermint, and Cranberry Fizz. I did a different dish every hour. So for my first time I am pleased!!!:)

That's great! Sounds like a great menu, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What indicators should I look for to determine if my first open house was a success?

To assess the success of your first open house, consider factors such as attendance numbers, the amount of sales generated, the level of engagement from guests, and feedback received. If you had a good turnout and made sales, that’s a positive sign. Additionally, if guests were actively participating in product demonstrations and asking questions, it indicates interest and engagement.

How can I evaluate the feedback I received from guests?

Collecting feedback can be done through informal conversations during the event or follow-up surveys sent via email. Look for common themes in the feedback regarding product interest, the overall atmosphere of the event, and any suggestions for improvement. Positive comments about specific products or the presentation style can also indicate success.

What sales metrics should I track after my open house?

Track total sales revenue, the number of orders placed, and the average order value. Additionally, monitor which products were most popular and if any guests expressed interest in hosting their own parties. This data can help you understand what resonated with your audience and guide future events.

How can I measure guest engagement during the open house?

Guest engagement can be measured by observing participation in product demonstrations, the number of questions asked, and interactions with you as the host. You can also track how many guests signed up for your newsletter or expressed interest in future events, as these are indicators of their engagement level.

What should I do if my open house didn’t meet my expectations?

If your open house didn’t meet your expectations, take it as a learning opportunity. Analyze what aspects may have contributed to the outcome, such as marketing efforts, timing, or product selection. Gather feedback from attendees to identify areas for improvement, and consider adjusting your approach for future events based on these insights.
