Ok so to get the incentive offered this month you have to have $500 show... now is that commissionable sales or the whole show total.. I'm a bit confused. I closed a show tonight that was total $530 but comm. sales is $405.... I want to know if I earned the incentive. Thanks

It's commissionable sales. Sorry!

Dang it!! I must have read it wrong cause I swore it only said show sales but I just went back a reread it and it does specify:(

Consultant promos are almost ALWAYS commissionable sales. In my close to two years of selling there's been only one that was based on guest sales.

Hi there! Great question. The $500 show requirement for this month's incentive is based on commissionable sales, which means the $405 you earned in commission would count towards the incentive. So congratulations, it looks like you have earned the incentive! Keep up the great work and happy cooking!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between commissionable sales and total show total?

Commissionable sales refer to the amount of sales that are eligible for commission calculation, which typically excludes certain discounts, taxes, and shipping fees. Total show total, on the other hand, includes all sales made during a show, regardless of whether they qualify for commission.

How are commissionable sales calculated for this month's incentive?

Commissionable sales are calculated by taking the total show total and subtracting any non-commissionable items such as discounts, returns, and certain promotional items. This calculation will determine your eligible sales for earning commissions during the incentive period.

Why is it important to understand the difference for my earnings?

Understanding the difference is crucial because it directly affects your earnings. Only commissionable sales count towards your commission rate and any incentives you may qualify for, so knowing how to maximize your commissionable sales can significantly impact your income.

Can I increase my commissionable sales this month?

Yes, you can increase your commissionable sales by focusing on selling higher-priced items, promoting add-ons, and encouraging guests to take advantage of any current promotions that may not affect commissionability. Additionally, ensuring that your sales are free from discounts can help maximize your commissionable total.

Where can I find more information about this month's incentive?

You can find more information about this month's incentive in your consultant portal, through company emails, or by reaching out to your team leader. They can provide specific details on how commissionable sales and total show totals will impact your earnings for the month.
