Troubleshooting My Test Email: Why Haven't I Gotten It Yet?

I tried to send a test message to myself so that I can forward it to my contacts (they aren't the same as my website contacts). So I sent a test email to myself over an hour ago and I still haven't gotten it. Anyone know why?
 
I just had someone on our cluster loop ask this same question...Almost verbatum! Here's what I answered her...

Whenever I tried to send myself something through TPC, it would never go through...the system "remembers" your email address. Try sending it to a different account (a separate Comcast one, or set up a free Yahoo! or Hotmail account). I found that was the only way to actually "see" what was being sent.

I actually did get it--6 hours later!!
 
Someone sent this to the loop...found it interesting...

I took a PWS teleclass one time and I remember the facilitator saying about this. When you send out a mass email to your customer connection email list, our PWS takes 9 emails at a time and sends them out. Our PWS is designed to do this to avoid our emails going into their spam or junk mail. So, this is causing the delay when you send/receive your email.
