Substituting Biscuits for GRANDS: Can It Work?

In summary, regular biscuits can be used as a substitute for GRANDS in a recipe, but the texture and taste may be slightly different. One can of GRANDS is equivalent to 8 regular biscuits. Frozen biscuits can also be used as a substitute, but they must be thawed before using. Using regular biscuits may affect the baking time, so it is important to keep an eye on them. Tips for substituting biscuits for GRANDS include flattening them before baking and brushing with melted butter for added flavor.

If I don't have GRANDS Biscuits on hand and can't get to the store this afternoon... how many "normal" biscuits do I use... or won't they work?

If you have them in a bag I would just cut and use them until the pan/stone got full. If they are in a can I would start with 2 cans. If you have different size stones you can always put the bsicuits you have in a stone until they fit in and quit adding. I know that is not exact help but that's all I can come up with.
