In P3, when you input people's info and orders, there is a place to choose if it is an outside order. Does it effect anything if it is? Why should I/should I not click it?

Help - about to submit my first show!!! :D

It's for your personal info... it's nice to know who was or wasn't at the show when doing your follow-up. Good luck submitting your first show!

Does it also affect the show count when a host can get something for free when they have 12 in attendance?

I check that Outside Order box to let me know who I need to print receipts out for. I have the host keep the top receipts from her show and print out all outside orders and mail them to her with the generic Thank You note.

Hello! Congratulations on submitting your first show, that's so exciting! To answer your question, yes, it does make a difference if the order is an outside order or not. If it is an outside order, it means that the order is not being placed directly through your show and the sales will not be counted towards your host's rewards. However, it is still important to input outside orders so that they can be properly recorded and fulfilled by the company. I would recommend clicking the box for outside orders so that they are accounted for, but just be aware that they will not contribute to your host's rewards. Best of luck with your show!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are outside orders in Pampered Chef?

Outside orders refer to sales that are collected from individuals who are not attending the host's show. These orders can be gathered through various methods, such as online orders, phone calls, or emails, and they contribute to the overall sales total for the show.

How do I collect outside orders for my first show?

To collect outside orders, you can reach out to friends, family, and coworkers before the show date. Share the show details, product catalogs, and any special promotions. You can also set up an online party link for easy ordering and provide clear instructions on how to place orders.

Can outside orders be submitted after the show date?

Yes, outside orders can typically be submitted up to a certain period after the show date, depending on the guidelines set by Pampered Chef. It's important to check with your director or the company’s policies to ensure you submit these orders within the allowed timeframe.

How do outside orders affect the host's rewards?

Outside orders contribute to the total sales for the show, which can increase the host's rewards. The more sales generated from both the show and outside orders, the higher the potential rewards, including discounts, free products, and exclusive offers.

What should I do if I have trouble collecting outside orders?

If you're having trouble collecting outside orders, consider reaching out to your network again with reminders or offering incentives for orders. You can also share product demonstrations or testimonials to spark interest. Engaging with your audience through social media or hosting a virtual party can also help boost orders.
