Who May Find This Useful

Consultants interested in product speculation and community insights regarding upcoming offerings in the Pampered Chef catalog may find this discussion engaging.

After reading all the guesses, I am so excited I just can't stand it! I don't think I can wait till Spring Launch...ooohhh

I'm glad to see everyone else is as anxious as I am to know what the new product is! lol You guys are funny!

saw a commercial by Iron Chef Michael Symon ( from Cleveland....YEAH!!) advertising an easy sear - nonstick cookware by calphalon. Was wondering if maybe it is a new saute' skillet that is not stick but sears? and browns?:p

After looking at the blurry pics, I think it is going to be something to speed up the marinading of meats and veggies -- which would coincide with grilling season.

Whatever it is, it will REVOLUTIONIZE THE WAY WE DO OUR SHOWS!!! I have to not even think about it to be able to stand it. LOL!! Come on February! I just hope it lives up to the hype. LMBO!

Hello, newbie here....
has PC ever sold any cast iron skillets? they now have them where they are covered with glazing. they are pretty interesting...

Did anyone guess a grilling tool that folds over the food so you can flip it and cook both sides. Like a double basket deally with a handle. Not sure that would be $49 though, but it flips!

That's a good guess!! Wow, I'd have never thought of that.

Cooking Light features a foodmill as this month's 'must have.' They highlighted a version by OXO for $50. I've never been particularly interested in one, but after reading the blurb, I realized I could get into using it....if someone "showed" my how.

I had to get my computer back to be able to see Sheila's image ... oh how funny!

Reminds me of those ultrasound pix ... a semi-retired guy used to come into our office all the time. When he passed, a former co-worker remembered showing him her ultrasound pic. He said, "What the he** is that? Looks like an alien!" Gotta love the honestly of the previous generation!

Yes, I labeled all my u/s photos for the family too! LOL

Without going back to see if this has been posted previously, what about this:

Thought this was interesting. From Solutions.com

Pizza Stone, Home Oven Pizza Cooking Stone, Perfect Pizzas | Solutions

Must be the glazed part that allows it to be broiler and grill safe???

Doubt PC would go in this direction, though. But thought it was interesting. This company in the past has had similar items to ours. The pot protectors look very simliar to ours.

I am still steamed that they took the small oval baker out of our line. I just bought my brother one off the outlet for Christmas. I have 2 and use them ALL the time! I am single and use a toaster oven a lot. I can do an individual size baked Mac and Cheese for a meal in about 20 minutes! I made lasagna last weekend and filled my brother's with an individual lasagna that he took home and cooked later in the week.

I wonder if it's something like this: http://www.chefscatalog.com/product/20152-thermal-tray.aspx I can see how this would be a big hit for spring/summer entertaining and how people would want more than one....just not quite sure how it would revolutionize our shows???

How about a nonstick frittata pan. Williams and Sonoma has a great one!

Definately something that you can "flip".

Oh, I agree! I miss the small oval baker, too. I have one and also a "back-up". DH and myself don't agree on food many times - and this stone was perfect for smaller portions.

Haa! I really hope that's NOT the new product - but it's definately interesting!! I hate things that require batteries - my thermometer needs it's 3rd replacement in less than a year.

I TOTALLY need one of those in my kitchen...especially for the chocolate pies we make fhr the holidays that literally take 45 mins of constant (but slow) stirring over the stove-top.

It'd be GREAT if PC came out with one of these tools!!!!

I saw a commercial for it last night, and was thinking that it would be great is PC had one of those. could be interesting the possible recipes to demo this with.

I was going to order one but then read the reviews online. Plus I think it'd be neat if the height was adjustable. For what I need it for I need a higher handle.

Ok heres my guess....

Mango Wedger
Manual Food Processor
Veggie Wedger
Grater
Zester
Mega Lifter
Mini Spoon & Tong Set
Small Beverage Glasses
Bar tongs
Grill Pan and Press
Scoop and Drain
Stonewear Cookie Sheets
Cook Books

or look for yourself ;)

kind of a let down.

@NewbyPChef

It is and it isn't. I kind of like it, it seems to be a bit different from the others on the market. I'm mostly dissapointed in the fact that there seem to be LOTS of products that are simply a different product reworked for only one use. So now instead of one product with 4 different uses, it's 4 different products. Ya know?
I do know that on page 15 there's something I'm sure many people will love ;)

I love how they reworked the catalog so the recruiting info is in the front. Where it is currently is the worst place for it in my opinion. It was better before when it was on the back cover, but in the front is good too.
