Last year was somewhat of a bust for me....having people sign up for a registry at the event and giving away products....what do you all do? I need some fresh ideas :balloon:

When I went (a long time ago), I did a raffle to get their information. I also talked to them about the registry and Bridal Shower. I didn't have them register right then. I made sure everyone new I would be contacting them afterwards.

Completly off the subject, but, I have a lot of PC wedding note cards from Merrill. If you need any let me know. I would be more than happy to sell/send them to you. Then you could send them to the brides afterwards to follow up, and a phone call of course.

Hey there! Sorry to hear that last year didn't go as well as you had hoped. It can be tough to get people to sign up for registries and engage with products at events. One idea could be to offer some sort of incentive for signing up, like a discount or a free gift. You could also try creating more interactive activities at your event, like a raffle or a game that requires attendees to interact with your products. Another option could be to partner with other businesses or organizations to co-host the event and reach a larger audience. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to the October Wedding Fair as a Pampered Chef consultant?

As a Pampered Chef consultant, you should bring a variety of products that showcase your best offerings, including kitchen tools, cookware, and recipe books. Don't forget to bring business cards, a sign-up sheet for interested customers, and any promotional materials or brochures that highlight your products and services. A display stand or tablecloth that represents your brand can also enhance your booth's appearance.

How can I attract more couples to my booth at the wedding fair?

To attract more couples to your booth, consider creating an engaging display that showcases your products in action. Offer live demonstrations of popular kitchen tools or recipes that are perfect for wedding gift registries. Additionally, consider providing samples of food prepared with your products, and have a fun giveaway or contest to encourage people to stop by and engage with you.

What promotional strategies should I use leading up to the wedding fair?

Leading up to the wedding fair, utilize social media to promote your participation and invite your followers to visit your booth. Create event pages on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and share sneak peeks of what you will be showcasing. Collaborate with local wedding vendors to cross-promote your booth and consider offering exclusive discounts or bundles for couples who visit your booth during the fair.

How can I follow up with leads after the wedding fair?

After the wedding fair, promptly follow up with leads by sending personalized emails or messages thanking them for visiting your booth. Include any special offers or promotions you discussed during the fair, and remind them of the products they showed interest in. You can also invite them to join your newsletter for future updates and tips related to wedding planning and kitchen essentials.

What should I do if I run out of products or samples during the fair?

If you run out of products or samples during the fair, remain calm and use it as an opportunity to engage with potential customers. Have a backup plan, such as offering a digital catalog or taking orders for items that are out of stock. Ensure you have a way for customers to sign up for notifications when products are back in stock or to receive special offers on future purchases.
