Love the red glasses Jennifer.

I love funky glasses! I've had to resort to wearing reading glasses these past few years :( otherwise I can't read a darn thing! I wish that site had readers, I like some of the frames over there. I bought these on ebay not too long ago.

Linda~

Those are cool...if I needed reading glasses I could get away with those! I can't see me in them 24/7 though! DH would REALLY think I had lost it!

I had some that were a really cool zebra stripe, but they were really cheap and broke pretty fast (ya get what ya pay for!) and I'm forever putting them on top of my head which isn't so good for them. Anyhow, there's a really cool pair of red readers with rhinestones that I'm thinking about getting!

Oh No!!I went to get my prescription out of my purse that I have had in there for a while (it is about 1 yr expired, so for two years) and I CANNOT find it!! I am so mad!! I was sitting down to order them.I have alway kept it in my billfold in case I was ever away from home and one of my contacts tore and I needed it. It had the eyeglass prescription on it too!! I am sure they will not give me another one since it is SOOO expired!! I am just so upset! I was excited as could be about getting some that wear not falling apart!! and that was cheap!!!

I do not have to go back for a while b/c before my prescription ran out I bought 6 months worth of contacts and since I do not sleep in them, I make mine last about 9 months or longer! I did not need any when I ordered them but I always do that so I do not have to go back every year.

UHHHH!

Thanks for that site Sarah!!! I just got new glasses in December but I may have to check that site out for another pair!!! Thanks!!

Jennifer~

I would call the place that gave you your Rx. Maybe they will give it to you again...doesn't hurt to ask!

I ordered THREE pair of glasses this morning for $88!!

One pair are normal glasses (#3253, brown)
One pair are sunglasses (#2233, green)
One pair are glasses with the magnetic sunglass pop-on lenses (got an extra set of these in case I lose one!) (#5005, blue)

I can't wait to get them!

ETA: KG caught a typo!!

They're the required grey color, right? They have to be in order to conform to the standard of Grey Popon.

Of course!!

The white ones balance out your face and brighten you up. I really like them.

I TOTALLY missed this thread back when it started!

My eyes are pretty bad but too chicken for lasik (plus the total cost - yikes!)

I wear disposable contacts and just got some new gas permeable ones a few months back to correct my astigmatism better. I'm definitely needing reading glasses though on top of it all - yikes! I'm really not THAT old!

I haven't looked at the site closely yet - does it accept prescriptions with astigmatism?

i wear my glasses so infrequently that I only by a pair every 3-4 years (and only because my prescription still changes so I'm forced to).

Janet~

It has you fill out your prescription...not sure how yours would be different.
Places for Spherical, Cylindrical, Axis, Prism, Base....you also need to know your pupillary distance but if that's not on your Rx you can call the place where you got your glasses....that doesn't change. If they don't have it/won't give it to you, it tells you on the site how to have someone measure it for you!

Eeeeuuuuwwww... :yuck:That's what happens in our house when the birds fly around at lunchtime. Although it's not grey, it's green.

And here I thought "mustards" were all that was left behind when the mouse was gone.

(This gag works better in person where I can use an accent on "mousetard" and the little "mus." Read it out loud a couple of times, you'll get it eventually.)

DH uses that joke all the time. Mostly because he hates mustard.

Musses can also make an awful muss in an old car, and they leave a lot of mustards behind.

I like all of them Kelly. Were they hard to order? I need a new pair and the price is so right!!! (I usually only wear mine at home becuase my face has gotten to fat since I got my last pair and they leave indents on my head! I would like to wear them out when I don't care to wear my contacts.)

Definately the white, although I think it's smart to get some in other colors since they are so Cheap!!!

VERY Cute!!!

ROTFLMAO- I thought this was about the new glasses/plastic cups PC came out with! :-) But I do like your new glasses! The blue are great on you!!

Heather...they were not hard to order at all! You just need your prescription, and your PD (pupilary distance) which either you can get from your eye doctor (this doesn't change over time) or the website tells you how to have someone else measure it for you. DH measured mine!

I told DH even if I only ended up liking ONE of the three pair, I was still WAY ahead price wise...$85 for three pair compared to $400 for ONE pair...no comparison!
