If I host my own Catalog show how does that exactly work? Do I get the 30% discount, host specials, & half-priced items? I understand that I don't get commission for the items I purchase but the Policy manual isn't very clear on the other stuff. Any info would be great!! I had some postpone a show on me and I needed to do something to get my 4th one in before my 30 days is up.

You get everything but the booking credit. You also do not make commission on your host order like you would a regular host. That's about it. You can get up to a 30% discount if you reach the $1000 level.

Oh yeah that's right I knew about the percentage part. Thanks for the info. Is there a limit to how many shows we can host ourselves? Just curious since the Sept host special is so good.

NO! That's the best part, as long as you can get the orders, you can submit as many shows as you want to.
By the way, you also do not get the 10% PHD.

Cool, thanks so much for the info. I just had someone submit a $75 order on my show and this is the first day I told people about it. Things sure are looking up!!

I can't wait to do this for the new fall products! The girls are my work are big Pampered Chef fans.

I'm also going to have a men & ladies "No Mall" show in the second half of November for people who want to order gifts for the Christmas season. I hope it's really popular, I think it's a great idea. I think the pocketbooks are looser sometimes when you're being generous to others. :D

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Consultant Catalog Show and how does it work?

A Consultant Catalog Show is a type of party where a host showcases Pampered Chef products through a catalog rather than a live demonstration. The host collects orders from friends and family, either through physical catalogs or online links, and submits them to the consultant. The show typically lasts for a designated period, during which the host can earn rewards based on the total sales.

What discounts and specials can hosts expect when hosting a Catalog Show?

Hosts of a Consultant Catalog Show can earn various discounts and specials based on the total sales generated during the show. Typically, hosts receive a percentage of the sales in free products, exclusive discounts on select items, and the opportunity to purchase additional products at a reduced price. The specific rewards may vary based on current promotions and the total sales amount.

Are there any minimum sales requirements to qualify for host rewards?

Yes, there are usually minimum sales requirements to qualify for host rewards in a Consultant Catalog Show. Typically, the host must reach a certain sales threshold, such as $200 or more in orders, to start earning free products and discounts. It's important for hosts to check with their consultant for the specific requirements and any current promotions that may affect these thresholds.

What is the policy on returns and exchanges for items purchased through a Catalog Show?

Items purchased through a Consultant Catalog Show generally follow Pampered Chef's standard return and exchange policy. Customers can return or exchange products within a specific timeframe, usually 30 days, if they are unused and in their original packaging. However, personalized items or those that have been used may not be eligible for return. Hosts should encourage guests to review the policy details provided by the consultant.

How can I promote my Catalog Show to maximize sales?

To maximize sales for your Catalog Show, consider utilizing social media platforms to share the catalog and product highlights with your network. You can also create engaging posts, host giveaways, and send personal invitations to friends and family. Additionally, offering incentives for guests who place orders, such as a raffle for a free product, can encourage participation and increase sales. Communication and enthusiasm are key to a successful show!
