Hi Everyone!:)

Does anyone have a letter you send in your hostess packets for your hosts?
Like, explaining how this is your job not a hobby and if they need to cancel they need to let you know in so many days before the show. They need to get guest list back to you within X amount of days. I am trying to write one, but I feel like it sounds to rude.

Also maybe including some type of hostess coaching in the letter?

Any help I would appreciate it!

Thanks-
Kelly V.

Hi Kelly -

I do a theme every month and this is what I'm using for September. I don't do invites but since you so I put #2 in for you.

Thank you ladies for those awesome letters . I always just throw something together with each hostess packet. I want to sound more professional and you all helped in a big way.
Have a blessed day.
Sincerely
Jane

Thanks for the planners Kelly. I have been wondering what to put for catalog shows for a while now that I have more catalog shows than cooking shows.

Here is one I originally got from here last year and have tweeked for my use.

(Note, a couple lines are specific to APO orders [military overseas]). I also offer an incentive for five or more outside orders.)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Hostess Packet and why is it important?

A Hostess Packet is a collection of materials provided to a hostess to help them understand their role in a direct sales party, such as a Pampered Chef event. It typically includes information about products, party planning tips, and incentives for hosting. This packet is important because it equips the hostess with the necessary tools to promote the party effectively and engage their guests.

What should be included in a Hostess Packet?

A well-crafted Hostess Packet should include a personalized letter, product catalogs, order forms, a party planning checklist, and information about any special promotions or incentives. Including tips for inviting guests and engaging them during the party can also be beneficial.

How do I craft the perfect letter for my Hostess Packet?

To craft the perfect letter, start by addressing the hostess by name and expressing gratitude for their willingness to host. Clearly outline the benefits of hosting, including potential rewards and fun aspects of the party. Use a friendly and encouraging tone, and include any important details about the party, such as date, time, and theme. Personalizing the letter can make it more impactful.

What tone should I use in the Hostess Packet letter?

The tone of the letter should be warm, friendly, and enthusiastic. You want to convey excitement about the upcoming party and make the hostess feel valued and supported. Avoid overly formal language; instead, aim for a conversational style that encourages the hostess to feel comfortable and engaged.

How can I make my Hostess Packet stand out?

To make your Hostess Packet stand out, consider adding a personal touch, such as a handwritten note or a small gift, like a sample product or a fun party favor. Use colorful and visually appealing materials, and ensure that the packet is well-organized and easy to navigate. Including testimonials or success stories from previous hostesses can also inspire confidence and excitement.
