Thanks, that really means a lot. I see everyone's numbers on here and wonder if I'll ever get a $1k show. My 30th day is July 5 so I'm just a bit shy of the 2500 level for double pc dollars!PampMomof3 said:No problem!! have you really only been selling for 3 weeks? If so, you're doing fantastic!!!

I am freaking out tho, because I have ONE show booked for July and ONE for Aug. Maybe a catty in both months also...but they are flaky hosts.
I say "we" because we are a husband and wife team. I'm the business, he's the entertainment. I'm an on call transplant nurse and need him to be able to cover shows if I get called out so I've trained him to do the cooking shows.
So I need to get on the horn and get some bookings this week!!

A transplant nurse! I was RN transplant case mgr at an insurance company until I recently quit. I am working on the resume now while catching up on things at home during the summer. My director is a ped. nurse & her DH is an RN with the UNYTS (sp?), he just returned from Iraq.
I think it's great that your DH is a team with you! I haven't had a $1K show-yet. My average has also dropped recently. I think w/vacations coming up & gas prices, people around here are tightening up.
I am looking forward to a show I am doing at my sister's neighbor's home.
They are each having their own show, but at the same time & place. I am hoping they both do well.
My Friday sale is now over $200, so I will order the CSS to have as a gift for my DD's b-day in Sept.

One of my good friends is a Case Manager/RN for MI Gift of Life (organ donors program). When she is on-call, she works sometimes 20 hrs a day! That is a profession that is such a high calling, but very emotionally and physically draining! She and her DH have 3 young daughters, and he is a stay-at-home dad! Here in MI, we just lost 6 valuable members of the Organ Donor Community in a flight crash - it was so sad. 6 men, who, between them. left 13 children behind, and left a hole in the Organ Donor program. They were bringing back organs for a transplant, and their plane crashed over Lake Michigan. We still haven't heard if they know what happened.

Hey Riggs, I'm in the same boat with my bookings. This week, I'm getting on the phone and calling. I'm going to conference next week and really need to return to some work!! That enthusiasm pays!!! Good Luck with the phone!!
