I am so exited, my show got a call from HO and we won the Santuko knife. I can't believe I actually won something. I registered the show last week and forgot to tell her about the drawing until about 3 hours before the show. She is a very good friend of mine and I just kept forgetting to tell her. Yea for me. I already have the knife so it will be a christmas gift for my dad, he has been wanting one of these. :)

Hey Benjamin....who is your director? My "Upline" Director is in Unionville!

Congratulations! I have one last show 5 hours from now so I am praying for a miracle.

Congratulations!! How exciting!

Congrats!!!! Way to go!!

I wanted to win, but didn't. I wasn't sure what I would do w/ the knife b/c I have 2 of them and my Dad, LOVES the FC but he has everything (except the new one...yet). But I just wanted to win to say that I did. Oh well, maybe some other time!!

Woo hoo! If it wasn't me, I'm glad it was someone here. :)

Congrats!!

I was hoping to get the call, but realized when the guests began talking about the "phone number not working" that I had put the wrong # on all my material (and the web registry, too...) AARRRRGGGHHHH!

So happy for you, though! Your dad will love the knife! Great gift idea!

Congrats!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Santoku knife and why is it special?

A Santoku knife is a versatile Japanese-style kitchen knife known for its ability to perform well in various cutting tasks, including slicing, dicing, and mincing. Its design features a shorter blade with a flat edge and a rounded tip, making it ideal for precision cutting. The unique shape and balance of the knife allow for easy handling and control, making it a favorite among both home cooks and professional chefs.

How did my show win a Santoku knife?

Your show likely won a Santoku knife as part of a promotional event or contest hosted by Pampered Chef. These events often reward hosts or attendees with special prizes based on participation, sales, or random drawings. Winning a high-quality kitchen tool like a Santoku knife is a great incentive for hosting or attending a Pampered Chef show.

What should I do with my new Santoku knife?

Once you receive your new Santoku knife, it’s important to take care of it to ensure its longevity. Start by washing it by hand with mild soap and water, then dry it immediately. Use it for various tasks in the kitchen, such as chopping vegetables, slicing meat, or preparing herbs. Remember to use a cutting board to protect the blade and maintain its sharpness.

Can I use the Santoku knife for all types of food?

Yes, the Santoku knife is designed to handle a wide range of food items, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish. However, it’s best to avoid using it on hard surfaces or for tasks that require a serrated edge, such as cutting bread. For optimal performance, use it on a wooden or plastic cutting board.
