Both of the small ovals are gone:thumbdown:  :thumbdown:ChefJoyJ said:I looked the numbers up in the catalog and it's only the french vanilla.
Maybe cranberry was a better seller?
RaggedyAunt said:Did anyone else notice how they're discontinuing the guac mix, BUT putting out a redesigned avocado knife? It struck me much like when they discontinued the coffee, THEN put out the scoop clip. Some of their decisions boggle my mind... I, too, am completely surprised over the number of stoneware pieces being discontinued. Fall should be interesting to see what comes out then...

Chef Endora said:What's the deal with ordering a stone on a supply order for 40% off?
ChefJoyJ said:See my post above - I checked product numbers and it is only the french vanilla. Cranberry will still be available.
I think it's just b/c it was a seasonal color? I think it was the same way when they had the scrapers in turquoise, sea green and the other color in 2006. I do like the Cranberry though.RaggedyAunt said:It does seem weird they're discontinuing the cranberry scrapers that are currently available, but adding 3 more next season. I guess it's to prod those guests who want them now to get them now. But, what about new customers (after March) who see the new cranberry ones and ask about the others that are being discontinued? I don't know what they can't simultaneously carry both colors in the scrapers for a longer time. Who knows?! lol
darlinclem said:Since we are going to have the Chipotle Rub we may be able to make the dip with it..
RebelChef said:Didn't the cranberry scraper collection just come out in the Fall catalog? I wonder why it's being d/c so soon? I have people who love that color. I sure hope they don't plan to bring those out in that green. :yuck:
DebbieJ said:The avocado peeler was back by popular demand. I've had many customers ask for it to come back. You can still make guac without our mix.![]()
jrstephens said:What is up with the STONES bein discontinued? That is a lot and a lot of what I sale. What is the deal! Are they being redone? I am confused and shocked about this!!:grumpy:
cathyskitchen said:The only thing I'm bummed about on this list is the guacamole mix. I have TONS of people who order that regularly, including myself. I know it's easy to make, but it's easier with the mix!! I'm gonna have to order about 100 boxes of the stuff between now and the end of Feb.!!!![]()

climbercanoe3 said:It is not to bad, but of course I just bought myself the colander bowl set for X-mas. So now I won't be able to bring it to shows. I am still glad I bought it.
climbercanoe3 said:I bought it at a November show to help with sell-a-thon. It is past the 30 days, since it shipped before Thanksgiving. I might just buy the lids like you had mentioned and if I do bring it I can mention the great new changes.![]()
darlinclem said:We actually had the Salina Journal (in Salina, KS) rate the Green Santuko Knife one of the best products of the summer this last summer. They said the great parts about it was its lightweight feel (great for people with Carpal Tunnel) and the small size (much better suited to smaller women). I sell a TON of both green knives.

Yes, discontinued products may still be available for purchase while supplies last. It's a great opportunity to stock up on items you love before they are completely sold out.
Stocking up on discontinued products can be beneficial as these items may no longer be available in the future. If you have a favorite tool or product that you rely on, purchasing it while it's still available ensures you won't be left without it once it's gone.
Pampered Chef typically reviews its product line annually, which may result in the discontinuation of certain items. This allows the company to introduce new products and keep the catalog fresh and relevant to current cooking trends.
