The thread revolves around the decision-making process regarding purchasing a new kit after reaching 200 shows as a Pampered Chef consultant. Participants express their thoughts on the necessity and value of the kit, weighing the cost against their current inventory and needs.
Views differ among participants regarding the necessity of the kit. Some see it as a valuable opportunity, while others caution against acquiring more items without need. No clear consensus emerges on whether to purchase the kit.
Participants share personal experiences related to their inventory management and the emotional aspects of purchasing decisions, reflecting a mix of practical considerations and personal anecdotes.
Consultants considering the purchase of a new kit may find the shared experiences and viewpoints relevant to their decision-making process.

ALISON!!!!!!!GourmetGirl said:Sorry, for jumping in, just got home from dinner, but I say buy 'em! You can a) use them for gifts - b) have replacement ones and - c)have a kit set and a home set if you want, and then you don't have to pack up all the time... only bring what's in the kit and maybe a piece or 2 more if you choose. Just my 2cents, but we all know I have a shopping problem (I spent a good $500 on clothes, shoes and a coach purse in the last 2 weeks...). and once again, you can write it off your taxes; now if I could only find a way to write off a coach purse... hmm...

I wonder why FR and Bridal don't count? There isn't an option on our PWS to add them as a catalog show so technically they are a cooking show.chefann said:Nicole, you get the current kit. And it's not after show 200, it's after COOKING SHOW #200. So if you do any catalog/FR/bridal/individual orders in PP, you'll need to keep going until you're past #200 in PP.
Is there a way (other than physically counting yourself) to know how many KITCHEN shows you have done?chefann said:Nicole, you get the current kit.
