Celebrating Success: Bragging on My Son's All-Star Baseball Team

Hi! I just had to brag on my son's baseball team. About a month ago my son's baseball coach was to put together a team to play in a tournament that was after their season ended. So, he started calling a few people and we put together a team for 1 tournament. The tournament was this past weekend and it was full of All Star Teams from surrounding communities. Our team was just a bunch of kids that wanted baseball to continue and had only practiced for a week and a half together. (These kids were from all different teams and had never played together as a team). Well they took 3rd place in the tournament. I am so excited for them. They were the only team that played 7 games in 2 days and they were they only "made from scratch" team. These kids are all 6, 7, and 8 year olds and they were so excited to win 3rd place. The team lost all 4 games on Saturday and then came back to win on Sunday. The one game they even run ruled the other team. It was so much fun!!

That's amazing! It just goes to show that teamwork and determination can really pay off. It's even more impressive that they were able to come together and perform so well in such a short amount of time. Congratulations to your son and his team for their accomplishment!
