I just got a call that someone wants to book March 1st (just over a week away). What's the best approach to host coaching this close to the show date? Do I just have her call everyone and get RSVPs that way? I'll be dropping off her host packet tomorrow.

Thanks - all my previous shows have had lots of time before them!

Yes, have her make her list and call everyone. That is her most important job as the host. The rest is just details.....can't have a party without people. :)(I once booked a show 10 days out and it was over $1k, so it can be done!)

How Awesome! Have her call/email (emails thru your PWS would be great!) everyone right away. If you do invites for hosts I may still do postcard invites if she gets you all the addresses tomorrow so you can get them out. They will be a good reminder.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the purpose of booking in close during a Pampered Chef party?

The purpose of booking in close is to encourage guests to host their own parties while they are still engaged and excited about the products. This technique helps to maximize sales and build a network of hosts, which can lead to more opportunities for future parties and increased income for the consultant.

How can I effectively coach a host to book parties during their event?

To effectively coach a host, start by sharing your enthusiasm for the products and the benefits of hosting a party. Provide them with tips on how to invite friends, create a fun atmosphere, and share their own experiences. Encourage them to mention the perks they receive for hosting, such as discounts and free products, to motivate their guests to consider hosting as well.

What are some key phrases I can use to encourage bookings during the party?

Use phrases like "Who here loves to entertain?" or "Imagine hosting a fun night with friends while earning free products!" You can also say, "If you enjoyed this party, think about how much fun you could have hosting your own!" These phrases help create excitement and make guests feel more inclined to consider hosting.

How do I handle objections from guests who are hesitant to host?

When faced with objections, listen to the guest's concerns and validate their feelings. Offer solutions, such as suggesting a smaller gathering or a virtual party if they are worried about time or space. Share success stories of other hosts who had similar concerns but ended up enjoying the experience and earning rewards.

What follow-up strategies can I use after the party to secure bookings?

After the party, follow up with guests via email or social media, thanking them for attending and reminding them of the fun they had. Include a special offer or incentive for hosting, such as a limited-time discount or bonus products. Personalize your message and ask if they would like to discuss hosting their own party, making it easy for them to say yes.
