that sounds yummy but 9 pkgs of gravy mix, is it salty???
janetupnorth said:Um, let's see if I can remember off the top of my head...I'm pretty positive I can.
This is my recipe, but you can probably cut it in half.
4-5 lbs. round steak
9 packets brown gravy mix
8 cups water
4 T brown sugar
4 T minced onion
8 T red wine vinegar
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. ground ginger
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 bay leaves
Brown meat in skillet. Mix gravy and water in about a 6-8 qt. stockpot. Add all other ingredients, meat and stir.
Bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour per pound of meat.
Serve over egg noodles.
***Note: Remove bay leaves after cooking.***

Tonight, we have a delicious stir-fry featuring chicken, bell peppers, and broccoli served over jasmine rice. It's quick to prepare and packed with flavor!
Absolutely! For the stir-fry, you'll need chicken breast, bell peppers, broccoli, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Sauté the chicken until cooked, add the veggies, and stir-fry with the sauce for about 5-7 minutes. Serve over rice!
Yes! We can easily modify the stir-fry by substituting the chicken with tofu or tempeh. Just follow the same cooking instructions for a delicious vegetarian meal!
Alongside the stir-fry, we're serving a refreshing cucumber salad with a light vinaigrette. It complements the main dish perfectly and adds a nice crunch!
Yes, you can! You can chop the vegetables and marinate the chicken or tofu ahead of time. Just store them in the refrigerator and stir-fry them right before serving for a quick and easy dinner!
