For a tasty and mild chicken wing recipe, you will need chicken wings, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and your choice of a sweet sauce like honey or barbecue sauce. You can also add herbs like thyme or rosemary for extra flavor.
Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
Baking is an excellent method for making non-spicy chicken wings. Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Absolutely! You can use a variety of sauces that are not spicy, such as honey garlic, teriyaki, or a sweet barbecue sauce. Simply toss the baked wings in your chosen sauce after they come out of the oven for a delicious finish.
Non-spicy chicken wings pair wonderfully with a variety of side dishes. Consider serving them with celery sticks, carrot sticks, a creamy ranch or blue cheese dip, or a fresh garden salad. You can also add some crispy potato wedges or corn on the cob for a complete meal.
