I finally got my very first registry!!! Wahoo! Now I need to listen to my wedding registry cd, to make sure I do whatever I need to do now. Any suggestions on what to do?
A girl from my church, she's also my old babysitter, she's the one that registered. She babysat for me about 2 years when my daughter was a toddler, now my daughter will be 7 in June! I can't believe she's getting married but I'm happy she chose me and PC to register with!
Just wanted to share my joy!:D

I'm excited with you. Wedding registries are great. Just remind her to let EVERYONE know she's registered with PC and how to order from that registry.

Frequently Asked Questions

What items should I include in my first wedding registry?

When creating your wedding registry, consider including a mix of essential kitchen tools, cookware, dinnerware, and small appliances. Think about items that you and your partner will use regularly, such as pots and pans, utensils, serving dishes, and bakeware. Don’t forget to add some fun items like specialty gadgets or unique serving pieces that reflect your personal style.

How many items should I register for?

A good rule of thumb is to register for about two to three times the number of guests you expect at your wedding. This ensures that there are enough options for your guests to choose from, while also giving you a variety of items to start your new life together. Aim for a diverse range of price points to accommodate all budgets.

Can I add items to my registry after it’s been created?

Yes, you can usually add items to your wedding registry at any time. Most registry platforms allow you to make updates, so feel free to revisit your list as you think of new items or as your needs change. Just be sure to communicate with your guests if you make significant changes to your registry.

What if I receive duplicate gifts from my registry?

Receiving duplicate gifts is a common occurrence, but most retailers offer easy return or exchange policies for registry items. Keep the receipts or gift receipts for all items received, and check the store’s policy on returns. You can exchange duplicates for items you may need or for store credit.

How do I inform my guests about my wedding registry?

It’s best to include registry information on your wedding website or in your wedding invitations. You can also mention it casually when guests ask about gift ideas. However, avoid putting registry details directly on the invitation itself, as it can come off as impolite. Instead, direct them to your wedding website for more information.
