Kodeysmom said:My cousins have it but they are stationed in Japan so thats the only reason they have it. They do like it but i have heard that the prices aren't comparable to cable companys who offer the triple play package ( phone, cable, and internet).

As for the echo, my techie husband found that when we upgraded our phone to a certain mhz the echo stopped and we didn't have any more trouble with it. Now, what the mhz is, I couldn't tell ya!JillianAnthony said:We had it and cancelled it. The reason being was because a lot of the time we'd get an echo from whomever we were talking with. And we had A LOT of problems with billing. Anytime we'd call them they would echo like crazy too. So, we went back to basic phone!
Vonage is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service that allows users to make phone calls using an internet connection instead of traditional phone lines. It works by converting voice signals into digital data, which can be transmitted over the internet. Users can access Vonage through a VoIP phone, a smartphone app, or a traditional phone connected to a Vonage adapter.
Vonage offers a variety of features including unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada, and many other countries, voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding, and mobile apps for making calls on the go. Additionally, users can benefit from features like video calling, virtual receptionists, and integration with other business tools for a more comprehensive communication solution.
Vonage typically offers lower rates than traditional phone services, especially for long-distance calls. It also provides more flexibility with features and the ability to manage calls through mobile apps. However, users need a stable internet connection for optimal performance, which can be a drawback in areas with poor internet service.
Reviews of Vonage are mixed. Many users appreciate the cost savings and feature set, particularly for international calling. However, some customers report issues with call quality, customer service, and occasional service outages. It's important to consider personal needs and experiences when evaluating Vonage.
Yes, Vonage is often considered a good option for businesses, especially small to medium-sized enterprises. It offers scalable plans, advanced features like team messaging and video conferencing, and integration with various business applications. However, businesses should assess their specific communication needs and internet reliability before making a decision.
