I have the newer sheet pans. I have noticed that my medium one is flaking off the silver and you can see black underneath. I have only taken the medium one to shows. It has never been used in the oven. It mostly in one corner. Any idea why it would be flaking off? I have put in for a product adjustment. HO wants me to send it back. I don't have a problem sending it back, however, at their expense. I got it around the 1st of August and like I said, I've never baked on it. It's only been taken to my shows. I'm afraid to bake on it now that it's flaking.

Oh heck yeah, send that baby back! Are they sending you a label? I would think they'd say it's been too long, unfortunately.

Have you heard of anyone else having this problem?I have not personally heard of anyone else having this specific problem with the newer sheet pans. However, it is possible that there was a defect in the coating or the manufacturing process that caused the flaking. I would recommend sending it back to HO for a product adjustment and requesting that they cover the shipping costs. It is best to not use the pan if it is flaking, as the flakes could potentially get into your food.
