SUMMARY

In the discussion regarding the timeline for sending host packets, participants emphasize the importance of communication with hosts to determine optimal sending times. A general rule of thumb is to send packets one month in advance, but this can vary based on individual host circumstances. For example, hosts may prefer to receive packets earlier to discuss with family during holidays, while others may have specific timing requests due to personal situations. I'm just wondering how far in advance everyone sends out host packets. I think Nancy's used to have a timeline posted on a calendar, but I don't remember what it was. Up until now, most of my shows have been booked just a few weeks in advance. But I just got my first January booking, and I don't know when I should sent her packet to make sure that she doesn't lose it! :)

My general rule of thumb is one month. However, I always talk that over with the host. For a January show, they may want the kit now so they can talk to family and friends over Thanksgiving. On the other hand, I have a December host who's moving back into a newly renovated home Thanksgiving weekend. She's asked that I send it the next Monday.

I sent out two January packets yesterday. Hand delivered one, and the hostess was very glad to get it. Said she'd already been thinking about it. I always put in the 40 names in 5 minutes worksheet and I pointed that out to her.Told her I would give her a week to look over everything and then I would call her to discuss recipes and any questions she might have.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a host packet?

A host packet is a collection of materials provided to a host to help them prepare for a Pampered Chef party. It typically includes product catalogs, order forms, party planning tips, and information about the host rewards program.

When should I send the host packet?

It is recommended to send the host packet as soon as the host confirms their party date. This allows them ample time to review the materials and plan their party effectively.

How long does it take for the host packet to arrive?

The delivery time for a host packet can vary depending on the shipping method used. Typically, it takes 3 to 7 business days for the packet to arrive once it has been sent out.

Can I email the host packet instead of mailing it?

Yes, you can email a digital version of the host packet to your host. This can be a quicker option and allows the host to access the materials immediately. However, some hosts may prefer a physical packet for easier reference.

What should I include in the host packet?

Your host packet should include product catalogs, order forms, a host rewards flyer, party planning tips, and any promotional materials relevant to the upcoming party. Personalizing the packet with a handwritten note can also enhance the experience for the host.
