If a catalog show begins in one month and closes in another, which month is it considered to be held in? Let's just say June-July ...

Is there any reason NOT to have a show carry over from one month to the next?

I have 3 catalog shows to get started and am trying to figure out if I should wait or go ahead and start them now ... don't really have enough time for them to close yet this month.

A june show has until July 31st to close--

if you want credit for any June incentives it has to close by July 5th

Because say you do a JUNE show on July 29th and someone likes the June Host special--they can start it and finish in July:D

You can do either. I generally let the host decide. If she (or he) is starting it in June and prefers the July special, I just supply her (or him) with the July info. If their preference is the June special, I give them all the stuff and set up a closing date.Just remember to have the host commit to one month or the other, so their "guests" can get the appropriate special.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of hosting a June-July Catalog Show for Pampered Chef?

Hosting a June-July Catalog Show can offer several benefits, including the opportunity to showcase seasonal products that are perfect for summer cooking and entertaining. Additionally, this time frame often coincides with family gatherings and barbecues, making it easier to gather guests. You may also benefit from special promotions or discounts that Pampered Chef offers during these months, which can attract more attendees and boost sales.

Are there any drawbacks to hosting a Catalog Show during June-July?

One potential drawback is that many people go on vacation during the summer months, which could limit attendance at your show. Additionally, some guests may be less focused on shopping and more on enjoying their summer activities. It’s important to consider your target audience and their availability when planning your show.

How can I effectively promote my June-July Catalog Show?

To effectively promote your Catalog Show, utilize social media platforms to share event details and create excitement. Consider sending out invitations via email or traditional mail, and encourage guests to RSVP. You can also create engaging posts that highlight featured products and any special promotions. Offering incentives, such as a raffle or exclusive discounts for attendees, can further boost interest.

What types of products should I focus on for a summer Catalog Show?

For a summer Catalog Show, focus on products that are ideal for outdoor cooking, grilling, and entertaining. Items like grilling tools, salad spinners, and picnic essentials are popular during this season. Highlighting seasonal recipes and demonstrating how to use these products can also engage your guests and encourage sales.

How can I ensure a successful June-July Catalog Show?

To ensure a successful show, plan ahead by setting a date that avoids major holidays or events. Create a welcoming atmosphere and provide refreshments to make your guests feel comfortable. Engage with attendees by offering product demonstrations and sharing personal stories about how you use the products. Follow up after the show to thank attendees and encourage them to place orders if they didn’t do so at the event.
