Starting College Tomorrow: Wish Me Luck!

In summary, My college starts tomorrow. I am nervous about it because I am not used to being on my own. I am also worried about my other responsibilities such as my house, job, and homework. However, I have set a goal for myself of getting an A average. I am also hoping to get a stripper star soon.

My college starts tomorrow. If they had an oh crap smiley that would be inserted here! I can't help but think what in the heck was I thinking!! I am not even worried about PC I am going to do the hobbyist thing and pass shows on to my recruiter/good friend. Now I am thinking how I am I going to handle the house, family, job, homework....I think I am crazy!! Plus on top of that I have given myself the goal, well I say goal but it is something I HAVE to have is an A average at all times. I really want to do well this time. You can do it. Once you get in your own groove and schedule, it'll all fall into place!

Just do what I do - drink a ton of Diet Mt. Dew:)!

Seriously, good luck with College

I started college when I was 41!. My kids were out of college by then but I had my oldest DD at home with her little guy (she made me a Grandma at 38:eek:) This grandson is going into his 2nd year of college!

Good luck to you an give it your best shot. B's work too. Don't be too hard on yourself and when the going gets tough, take a break for a hug....its a great relaxation technique and stress buster. I'm now back in school 2 eves. a week.

What is your major?

What is your major?

Good for you!! My major is English Education, but then I will get my master's in Media Technology so I can be a Media Specialist. That is what I really want to do, but I have to get my Bachelors first!
