Hey there fellow Cheffers!
I wanted to share some awesome news with you guys.
After 7 longs months of being unemployed...
I just had to share it with all my Cyber-chef buddies!
There is a little more than a handful of you who I have leaned on during this difficult time for DH and me. I have had just a few moments of fear and battle weariness, but have tried so hard to keep my faith and know that God would provide and come through, and you guys (you know who you are) kept us lifted up in prayer and encouraged me when the enemy was attacking me and coming against me in numerous ways.
I thank you guys for your prayers, laughs, encouragement and timely bible verses! If I didn't have you guys, the past 7 months would have been bumpier than it was!
Second bit of great news for our family- my niece has started talking to people outside the family about what her daddy did to her. She started acting some things out on the Pastor and his wife- and additionally threatened to tie up their hands, through them in jail and burn the church to the ground. Pretty intense for a 4 year old, don't you think? Anyway, they now have some additional evidence against my sisters husband, and it is only a matter of time before they pick him up and officially charge him with sexually abusing his child.
Well- that's it in a nutshell- DH is going to be working for the company where I work- he's going to run our new facilty AND be the HR manager. Myself and another collegue will handle the benefits portion of HR, and the employee anual reviews. I'm excited that I get to buy hairspray from the salon again! lol. I think we learned to be better stewards of our money throughout all of this, and I believe we blessed people in a financial way more than we did when DH was making OOOODLES of money!
His new job doesn't pay anything near what his job description demands, but we are trusting in the Lord that He has His reasons, and that we don't have to make as much money as we were in the past.
So thanks for helping me through another "adventure" in the day and life of the Kitchen Diva.
Know that I pray for you all- and I truly believe that God will Bless all of you!!!
HUGS!!!
