Show Swapping: Is It A Mistake For My Home Interiors Friend?

I have a good friend who just starting selling Home Interiors. (another Direct Selling company) We started our "businesses" at the same time (last month!) and have been trying to support/motivate each other. We agreed to do shows for each other....She is doing A H.I. party for me on 8/24 and I am doing a PC show for her on 9/1. After reading a post here about "show swapping", I am a little worried. Do you think I made a mistake?

I never hurts (too much) to help a friend. You could gain great contacts and so could she. In my opinion , as long as both of you are looking at this show swap as a good thing, to help motivate and support each other it is wonderful.

Hi there! It's great that you and your friend are supporting each other in your new ventures. I don't think you made a mistake by agreeing to do shows for each other. Show swapping can be a great way to reach new customers and expand your network. As long as you are both respectful of each other's businesses and don't pressure each other's guests to buy, it should be a positive experience for both of you.
