Will Late Orders Face Higher Shipping Fees After August 31st?

In summary, a shipping and handling increase refers to a rise in the cost of shipping and handling fees for a product or service. Companies implement these increases to cover rising expenses and maintain their profit margins. As a consumer, this may result in higher overall costs, but companies may offer discounts or promotions to offset the increase. While these fees are usually non-negotiable, you can explore alternative shipping options or purchase in bulk to potentially save on costs. The duration of a shipping and handling increase varies depending on the company and reason behind it. It is important to stay informed and keep track of any changes in fees.

If I don't close my August 27th show before August 31st will the guests have to pay the increased S&H charge?

No. That is an August show and the shipping, products and prices are according to the summer catalog/order forms. Remember it must be submitted by August 15th.

She means it must be submitted by Sept 15th.

Thanks Beth and Deb!

Hi there! As a fellow Pampered Chef consultant, I wanted to chime in and provide some clarification for you. If your August 27th show doesn't close before August 31st, the guests will still be able to place their orders, but they may be subject to the increased S&H charge. It's always best to encourage your guests to place their orders before the deadline to avoid any extra fees. However, if they do end up paying the increased S&H charge, remind them that it's still a great deal for high-quality products that will enhance their cooking experience. Happy selling!
