(That's more of a rhetorical question, KG.....)

I just submitted a show, and when I was sorting receipts to put in my filing cabinet realized that I didn't charge someone's credit card for their order. What the h**l was I doing? Yeesh.....

I did call HO, and got right through - apparently 4 minutes below they close is a good time to call to get right through...I was surprised. They didn't have my show order yet, so I'll have to call tomorrow and get a call back.

I'm soooo distracted. I think I'm going to lose my job soon, and I'm totally stressed out about how I'm going to afford all my bills (and man, there are a TON of them...I like to say I had a lot of fun in my 20's and I'm paying for it now :) I can't make that kind of money in PC - I'm not that good at it :) And I have no real talent that translates anywhere but the desk I already sit at, so I'm looking at entry level anywhere else. Which, under normal circumstances would be OK with me, but my bills are more like two entry level jobs worth every month...

Oy.
 
I wouldn't have said anything. What makes you think you're going to lose your job? Until someone actually escorts you to the door, you're part of the team.

I'm impulsive and I don't have a lot of patience for idiots. It's a bad combination.

And unfortunately, the governor between my brain and my mouth is mostly on the fritz. Or in the instance of my write up this afternoon, the governor between my brain and my keyboard.

Apparently there's no loyalty between people who used to work for you, whose job you saved many times even though your boss wanted him fired, and, well, me.

Oh well. Lesson learned. Time to start pounding the pavement. I can't possibly behave myself for the next year, so I'll have to go start annoying other people instead :)

OK, just in case you really were asking about the CC mis-hap. You can put it on your next show. I usually just change the name of a customer who is ordering something I know most likely won't be a warranty issue just long enough to send it. Put in the CC info and the amount they needed to pay, send the show, change the name back.
